What hair-dye brands should I look for?

I want this to last a while - at least 3 weeks before I have to redye it again, anyway.

Manic Panic, it doesnt last too long but its pretty much they only complany that will make hair dye that color

make sure if you have dark hair to bleach it untill it is almost white, blues can come out as green otherwise

If you have darker hair be sure to bleach it before dying, othrwise the blue make come out lighter or not at all. And I would go to a Sally's beauty store and ask an associate.

if U got that picture from hot topic, and that's where u should also buy the hair dye. Chances are that girls using 'fish bowl' from there...I just got it recently. its a really pretty color.

Good luck finding a good salon to do the cut though. I've had terrible luck with hair places lately. I've just been cutting my own hair. I'd DEFINATELY do the coloring myself!

There are a few good unnatural hair colour brands out there. Some aren't the best and you may as well use food dye.

It also depends on how long you leave it in for.

Special Effects have a good range. I reckon you could use Fish Bowl for that colour.

Manic Panic also have a good range. You can leave the amplified cream/dye in for hours to achieve a vibrant result.

Fudge have an okay range. The colours don't come up well on here. But it shows what type of blues there are.

These should last for the time you said. But keep in mind, unnatural colours tend to fade the fastest then any other dye.

For black. I definitely recommend 'Schwarzkopf'. It is my favourite brand and the black takes forever to fade. But is a pain if you decide to go blonde.

well when i dyed the underneath of my hair blue i first had to bleech it (i have black hair) and then dye it blue. i used FUDGE dye and i loved how it looked, but it washed out really really quick. i dont know of any that are good for a while but i would stay away from the one i used only because it really didnt last long, and when it faded it bacame a gross green -ish gray color.

if you want any of those color dyes to have any kind of staying power you should try manic panic gel pigments, on bleached or natural blonde hair.
