Whats the best hair dye for getting tones?

i want to dye my hair from a light/medium brown to a really dark brown but i want some nice tones in my hair too, to make them look like highlights. I usually use nice and easy, but have noticed that the colour burns out when i use my hair straightners. What permanent hair dye will be best for what i want please? thanks!

All colours will fade due to using heat. Try using a colour shampoo between colouring. It'll enhance yr colour and stop it looking so flat.
