Bleach and hair dye?

i wanna dye my hair but i have to bleach it first,

i straighten my hair everyday so if i bleach and dye it and continue to straighten it will my hair die? and is there any products i can use so it wont die after that?

Bleach and hair dye?

There is no miracle cure for hair that has been damaged to bleaching or over straightening.. just plenty TLC afterwards. intensive conditioning treatments every couple of days to replace the moisture lost during chemical treatment. is it a must that u bleach as it does damage extensively, more so if done at home rather than salon..but if a must coconut conditioner is a good option, shampoo hair as usual apply conditioner to towel dryed hair, heat up towel, wrap round head and leave on for approx 15 Min's and rinse leave to dry naturally will benefit then apply heat spray and straighten as usual....

hope this helps

Bleach and hair dye?

Well, every time you blow your hair dry then straighten it you are damaging your hair. To add hair dye and bleach to your hair you are going to do more damage. Because you need to double process your hair to get the color you want, I would recommend that you talk to your stylest about doing the work for you to minimize the amount of damage you do. Box dyes are much worse for you than the dyes you get at a professional salon. You can purchase these same quality products at Sally Beauty supply stores if you are bent on doing it yourself. I however dont think it is a good idea with out consulting your hair dresser. They will also be able to help you with after care products. Good luck hun. I know what its like to have dark hair.

why do you have to bleach your hair first?

also, why do you have to straighten your hair everyday?

i am a hairdresser, and depending on how dark your natural color is and what color you want to color it to, you dont have to bleach it. there are professional colors that will lift your natural color up to four levels. (meaning a dark brown can go to medium to light without bleach). also there are other products besides bleach that will lighten hair.

as far as straightening hair everyday. unless you are very active and sweat alot, do you really have to wash your hair everyday? the natural oil that the human scalp produces is good for the hair, that is why you dont have to shampoo everyday. besides, straightened hair will actually look even straighter the second day.

Bleach and hair dye?

try hair oil. it's really cheap, and when i just put bleached highlights in my hair, then straightened it...omg it was horrible! first i conditioned my hair then put hair oil in it. about an hour later it was fine. u can get hair oil at wal mart.
