Best hair dye choice for...?

I have dyed reddish/dark brown hair right now, with a few lighter highlights. I would like a colour that brings out my skin tone, which has yellow undertones and my eyes, which are brown almost black.

I had dyed it red recently, and HATED it. So I need something that will cover it.

I don't really want highlights. I would like a nice natural colour that I can keep in it while I try to grow my hair out.

I do straighten my hair every few days. And my hair is naturally black with maroon highlights. And I have medium skin tone, but with the sun out...I will be getting much much much darker soon.
