Strand test with hair dye?

I've never dyed my whole head before, I've had big chunks dyed with the foil thing.

I had it first done red and then I wanted to go blonde so they did the same foil thing blonde.

I bought my own dye, it's a good make.

I'm pretty nervous about dyeing it as I've never seen it being done before... but i'm determind to get it blonde.

I'd like to do a strand test but it says on the instuctions:::

"please use immediatly once mixture is mixed, if not it will blow up and go BANG!"

i don't want it to go bang!

but how am i meant to do a strand test?

and plus... will this dye be ok to use on my hair seeing as it's once already been dyed..?

xxxxx

Strand test with hair dye?

If something you are about to put on your head could possibly blow-up that is usually a pretty good indication that you shouldn't use it.I would try another product.

Strand test with hair dye?

1. It won't go "bang", it will just not be effective the longer it sits ..unused and in the bottle.

2. You won't be able to do a strand test ...and then if you like add the rest to the entire head because ...of #1. The time of use/ active is only about 30-40 minutes. It will take you that long to see the results of the strand test. You will have to have another "batch" mixed to add to the rest of the head if you like the results of the strand test.

3, I strongly suggest you go to a professional, because if you have underlying pigment "red" you could end up blotchy and/or have more than one color in other areas (other than the strand test area)

4. It will cost you more to "get it fixed" than to have someone do it right the first time.
