Hair dye, then bleach?

okay so i just dyed my hair soft black and im gonna put bleached chunks in it. im just wondering how long should i wait until i bleach it? [[plz dont tell me how i shouldnt bleach it cuz its bad for my hair or that it wont look good. or that i should get it done in a salon. ive dyed and bleached my hair b4 so i already kno how damaging it is]] thanx :)

Did you section off the parts you want to bleach before dying black or just dyed the whole thing black? If you dyed it all you could have saved yourself a bit of trouble by sectioning off the pieces you knew you were eventually going to want blonde (I'm not trying be a jerk, but it really is a pain to bleach out black dye, I know because I've done it way too many times). If you used pretty temporary dye (level 1 or 2) I'd wait around 2 weeks (or more, if you can stand it) because the black will wash out a bit and will be easier to lift. If you used permanent (level 3) dye then I'd just wait a week to wash out any black leakage that may come out (you don't want it turning your new blonde into new greyish dishwater blonde). You may have to bleach your hair a few times to get it anywhere near light blonde, and I'd wait at least a week in between bleachings.

I dyed it black and then the next day I put bleach blonde streaks in it. You will most likely have to bleach it twice though because the first time it turns out an orange-ish color. You should be fine bleaching the paches twice in the same day. thats what I did and my hair didnt get fried or anything
