I need Hair dye advice..?

i am a blonde, but 8 months ago I dyed my hair very dark brown. tried to dye it blonde yesterday and it is still not taking like it used to. what can i do to make it blonde? beyond stripping the color if i dont have to, I hear that can damage your hair.

I am a Stylist and I wouldn't tell you to do this at home! Go to the Salon and ask them to do a Color remover on you- Or a Bleach Bath. Those will Damage your hair some! Your other option is getting Chunky Highlights... They will most likey use Bleach on your hair which will damage it as well!

Our Rule of Thumb: Color will NOT lift Color!! So... In Order to get back to blonde... you will need to Bleach it color Molecule some way some form!

I would go to a professional and have them do it. and keep conditioning your hair so it does not get dried out. and try not to use the blow dryer on it. because that can also dry your hair out.

i would def go to a professional to get that done. if you do decide to strip the color there are alot of conditioning treatments you can buy to hopefully repair your hair again. good luck

umm almost all dye kills your hair anyway so it cant get much more damaged go to a salon they are trained to take care of it!
