I use Preference on myself and the color really saturates and LASTS for weeks on end. I use Feria on my mom (her hair is starting to grey). Look for a type of Feria in a shiny silver box that is made to give "prismatic highlights" (this will help balance the gery and give a more natural look, not a look that just makes you look like you have grey hair and tried to fix it yourself)...also, make sure that the color you chose says "100% grey coverage" - it's usually in a yellow square on the front of the box. I use Feria #60 for Mom and it's great!

Love Loreal's natural match I've used it and my mom uses it to cover her gray and she really likes it cuz it doesn't look fake like some dyes.

First of all, NEVER use a hair dye that you buy in a grocery store or Walmart anything like that. Go to a beauty supply store... Wella is one of the most recommended brands...and they are safer for your hair (no ammonia) and they last longer as they are the same products that professionals use.... most good beauty supply stores employ people that have had experience working with hair...so you can ask alot of questions and get good answers. I use to use box dyes and then i found Sally's (W. Washington), I started to buy my dyes there and my hair is healthier than when i used box dyes and my color stays in up to 4X longer...that is saving a lot of money believe me!
