im gonna dye my hair the color of drew barymoresin legally blonde with a box.

my hair is currently the color of like avril lavignes before she died it really blonde

will this turn my hair orange?

It could if you try to go too light. If you use an ash blonde it won't be as brassy however to go this much lighter you will get the best results by going to a salon. They will be able to strip your hair color and then dye it the shade you want. You won't be as happy if you do it yourself.

Do not, I repeat do not color your hair blonde with a box dye. I have had to correct countless colors by people who do this.

That's fine and dandy if you prefer the box color as opposed to a salon but only if it's darker.

Your going to be extremely dissapointed and end up paying even more money in the salon to get a color correction.

The box color's have one kind of developer in them and it's the hightest percent which won't be needed on your hair if it is a light brown and will only do more damage than is needed, it will also have no toner in it so your stuck with whatever color your hair happens to bleach out to.
