Unnatural hair dye please?

ok, I want to get some permenent hair dye (green, purple, or red) and I really would like to know what brand is really good, and if you can only think of a good shampo that wont take all the dye out then thats awesome!

Try going to like Hot Topic. They have a lot of cool colors and their stuff works good. As for a shampoo I would try something that is for dyed hair. good luck

Red will fade the fastest but if you have dark hair there is a permenant color called magma. Its the crazy red (firetruck or deeper) But it lasts until your hair grows out and you can't really color over it. Other colors I would say manic panic , but the show up best if you bleach the area first. A good color safe shampoo is Matrix Color Smart.

www.manicpanic.com The dye comes in alot of crazy colors. Several of my friends used it and it worked out great. The site has information on coloring your hair with it, pics, etc. too.

Go to Sally's beauty supply store, here is the link for the product that I think you should try http://www.sallybeauty.com/shop/1450/140... they have several different colors, plus you can mix them to make up your own unique color! you can also go to sallys home page and find a sally's near you. they sell professional products and you don't have to be a cosmetologist to go there and shop! Also if you are wanting to use one of the lighter shades, I would reccomend bleaching your hair just up to an Orange base and color over that. Orange is kinda of a neutral color so it is very easy to color over to get the result you want. if you lighten it too much it can alter the color and you don't want to do that. We have used these at my school and they are really good, and very bright colors! I am sure you will like it! Good Luck with it! Sally's also has several color saving shampoo's and conditioners, but I would recommend going to a salon and buying REDKEN color extend, I have used it and I LOVE IT, here is a link to a site where you can read about it. You will have to purchase that at a salon though. It is well worth it though!
