I want to dye my hair..?

Right now it is a light golden brown/dark blonde.

I want to go blonde.

I have light ash blonde hair dye.

I also bought a lightening kit , because someone told me if i want to get rid of the orange tones i would have to bleach it and then dye it. and if i bleached my hair and then dyed it blonde , would it work??

if you just bleach your hair it should work. thats what people have told me.
