kkk so i get this hair dye from hot topic and i put it in my hair and it was so weird when i took a shower a few days after i dyed it , it just came out everywere like purple water was coming out of my hair in the shower is this normal or is this because i didnt bleach my hair ???

It was likely only temporary dye. This type of dye is designed to wash out when you wash your hair. You can go to a place like Sally's Beauty Supply to find permanent or semi-permanent hair dyes.

you answered my "born blonde" rite aid question, and yes, you need to bleach your hair before you put cool colors in, or it won't show up well!

Most likely you probraly used a rinse, versus regular dye. Bleaching is to whiten your hair so the purple can actually be purple,and not mixed with any other colors, but any how you should go to the beautician.

YOu obviously got hair die that washes out for a purpose. You need to find a permanant hair dye or get a new brand.

you have to bleach your hair first if its not blonde.

maybe you didn't leave the dye on for long enough. read the bottle. some of them tell you to leave it in longer if you want permanent or semi-permanent color. hope that helps

The product was not permanent, permanent gets in to your hair cuticles. No you do not need to bleach hair. Use shampoos and conditioners for color-treated hair and be sure to leave the time it says.

I have never heard of this dye brand, was it permanent? or was it a wash in wash out thing, If it was one that was suppose to wash out then yeah as some of them with the deep shades are designed to come out but if it was a permanent or semi then it should have stayed in, if your not sure look for it on the net %26amp; write them a letter they will send you another for free.

Dont know what you used but if it was a vegetable dye these tend to coat the hair with dye so you may find for the first couple of washes that lots of the excess dye comes out - especially when shampoo is applied to the hair. After the first few washes you should find that the dye does not come out as much and it should settle down.
