Hair dye question please help!?

i bought feria multi-tone in 7.66 sunlit dark reddish blonde. i have dark brown hair which is a reddish brown color from dyeing it last time.

will this color look okay? i want it really, really red. i bought it at sally's. also, i've never used this kind of dye. i always use the box kits. how long should i leave it to develop. i did a strand test, but it looked no different after a half an hour. i am not sure if i mixed everything evenly though.

any help would be appreciated.

i got intense auburn from 100%color loreal i think i left it on longer and it turned a purple/red i loved it :))

always remember.. color will not lighten color

so if your hair is med or dark brown.. you can not lighten it with a lighter color..

you have to use same level or darker for color to work

you have to bleach if you want to lighten hair
