Is there anyway to get my hair dye out?

I just dyed my hair a couple hours ago.. it was supposed to be lighter but for whatever reason it turned out MUCH darker..hair is just hair i know but I'd raher stick to my comfort level and the colour i want.. is there anyway to get the dye out??/ any possible way i would be able to re-dye it before the reccomended 2 weeks , maybe if i use a amonia free hair dye?

Don't dye it again, it won't do any good especially if you're trying to lighten it. Go to a salon and have it fixed. Just tell them it came out too dark and they can strip the color and re-dye it. It's a little pricey but it's the only way to do it. Especially without ruining your hair. In the meantime wash it with Johnson's baby shampoo numerous times and it'll help get some of the color out I've had to do this before, it works. Don't use dish soap. Don't use those cheap color removing things you can buy in the store they can damage your hair. And whatever you do, don't bleach your hair or try to dye it again.

It should fade over time. Plus a new hair color takes time to adapt to. But if you absolutely are not satisfied with your color, I would try to wash it out with dawn dishsoap. My friend did this and it really helped get a lot of the unwanted color out. It dries your hair out a little bit, but this can be remedied by some conditioner afterward. Good Luck!

You can redye it whenever you want, just make sure you take care of it. I bleach my hair often, and it is some of the healthiest hair I have ever seen. Try KMS reconstructor. Just make sure you take care of it.

color usually looks darker when it is first applied

it could lighten in a couple of weeks
