Is it just me??? (hair dye)?

ok

so like i have natural dark brown hair

and i want to dye it like some kind of funky color

but only for A COUPLE days

and i was looking for those temporary dyes

the lady at sallys beauty suplies sed to use this spray stuff

but that ended up all dusty and ****

does this happen to anyone else?

second part of question:

does anyone kno a hairdye that would look good?

i want like a blue or red

without bleaching my hair would be preferable but if i haf to bleach it i want the dye to come out with only a few washes

so ya

anyone got any suggestions?

Is it just me??? (hair dye)?

At wal-mart that have different kinds of wash out in funky calls

Is it just me??? (hair dye)?

at walmart you can buy l'oreal dye that has cartoons on the cover of girls and it's temporary dye that lasts for 12 showers. They have red, blue, black, and a pink color.

Is it just me??? (hair dye)?

Manic Panic (You can find it at Hot Topic, among other places)

Is it just me??? (hair dye)?

dont bleach it but use hair dye w-o peroxyde

Is it just me??? (hair dye)?

at sallys they also have these bottles of dye, and they come in like ALL colors, but they last like 2 weeks, is that short enough?

Is it just me??? (hair dye)?

not gonna happen. any colour you put on brown will be diluted by the original colour. it won't be nearly as obvious as i think you want it to be. you gotta bleach it first. but, it won't be temporary. bleached hair just loves to suck up colour. and the bleached out colour you're left with is not attractive. however, a professional should be able to put a few streaks of decent colour in. also not temporary. i think there's a conair tool with "paints" out there but i don't know anyone who's used it, sorry.

Is it just me??? (hair dye)?

I'm not sure there is a dye out there that will fade away in a few days... the only ones I know of are either one-use or like, month-long usage. So can't help you there. As for the bleaching, I have light brown hair and I HAVE to bleach my hair before dyeing or the dye won't even show up. Annoying, yeah...

As far as colors, just be careful if you go with red. If you have any red marks, blemishes, acne ect. on your face I wouldn't reccommend red, because it just highlights all the bad stuff. (Believe me, I tried pink hair for a while. Did NOT look sexy.)

Which hair dye brand is best?

my hair is naturally light blonde. a few weeks ago, i dyed it light brown %26amp; i really liked it, but right when it got warm out and i began to spend a good amount of time out in the sun, it faded right back to my natural color. i want to dye it dark brown now, but i dont want it to start fading into an ugly color. which brand from the supermarket/drug store do you think is the best?

Which hair dye brand is best?

I would say that most store bought haircolor is created pretty equal. The more important issue is preventing the fading. First, wash hair in as cool water as you can stand hot water opens the cuticle and lets the color out. Use a GOOD color shampoo, no since in washing your color down the drain. And use a sun protection spray with SPF in it when you are going outdoors.

Which hair dye brand is best?

anyone not bought in america.

american made stuff fades out quick to keep you buying more, try ordering from europe or asia from an online store to get quality hair color.

Which hair dye brand is best?

stay away from loreal their colours are flat and go much darker than what is shown on the packet and many people say they fade even the permanent range. Any dye with a gold or caramel in it will give good highlight and colour, semi permanents will fade within 24 washes, napro live within 6-8 washes, and permanents should not fade at all as they grow out, the higher percentage of peroxide the more drying it will be to your hair and the more it will bleach it, so use a good intensive treatment afterwards.

Whats the best hair dye to change red to blonde?

I Have red hair and I want it to be blonde, does any one know the best hair dye to do this with

Whats the best hair dye to change red to blonde?

Get it done professionally. Take it from someone who has had every color of hair. Once I accidentally turned my hair gray! Getting the right shade of blonde is difficult. I would only recommend that those with light brown or dark blond hair attempt it at home. Red hair is particularly difficult to change to blond. You may end up with a really brassy blond if you try to do it at home. You'll wind up paying a salon even more to fix it , and you will damage your hair.

Whats the best hair dye to change red to blonde?

u dont wanna be a blonde theyre overrated

Whats the best hair dye to change red to blonde?

Get this done professionally its really hard to color red hair. If you must do it yourself get an ash blond color in a permanent hair color. I always liked feria

Whats the best hair dye to change red to blonde?

Go to a beauty supply store and ask a professional, but dont forget to grab some stuff to drip into your dye that takes the red out. That would be your best bet unless you want to go to a salon.

Whats the best hair dye to change red to blonde?

bleach

Whats the best hair dye to change red to blonde?

You should have it professionally done so it doesn't look too fake. Whatever you do, don't go bleach blonde, that type of change is too much.

Whats the best hair dye to change red to blonde?

Is your hair natually red or colored, because if it is colored red and you want to go blonde, go to a salon and have it done. Red is one of the most hardest colors to totaly get out of your hair.

Whats the best hair dye to change red to blonde?

you need to buy the hair dye that completely takes out the color of your hair. Then you find the blond color that you like and dye it.I can't remember if it's by Lorelle or not,but it worked for almost black hair to blond for me

Hair dye during pregnancy?

this may sound like a daft question but i have no idea lol so thats why i thought id ask.ermm can i dye my hair while being pregnant??

Hair dye during pregnancy?

my cousin asked me the same question while she was pregnant with her third baby.

yeah its perfectly OK to dye your hair while your pregnant, it wont harm the baby or you

go ahead and treat yourself to a new hair colour, u need a little pampering while your pregnant.

oh and congratulations on the pregnancy

Hair dye during pregnancy?

yes. its perfectly fine to. it wont harm the baby

=]

Hair dye during pregnancy?

You can after the first trimester. Try to use ones without a lot of ammonia in them.

Hair dye during pregnancy?

I dyed mine while I was pregnant. I talked to my OB about it and he said there was nothing wrong with it, and I was a high risk pregnancy. People all have different views on this topic.

Hair dye during pregnancy?

they say not to ... i imagine it would be ok.. i was blonde before and when i fell pregant i had it dyed back to natural colour.. i didnt dye it since then! i think it will be fine they just say not to for some reason.

Hair dye during pregnancy?

I would not use any narley ones or bleach, and wear a mask, even if there is no probability of chemical absorption harming the baby the fumes might.

Hair dye during pregnancy?

I just used one of those temporary rinses to make sure

the baby didn't get affected during pregnancy.

Hair dye during pregnancy?

i was in the same dialema as you, i am now 38 weeks pregnant and have held off all this time. but i feel so big and heavy and ugly(cause pregnancy has brought on acne) that i needed something to make me feel better and get rid of my roots lol.

i asked my midwife on tuesday and she said it is fine to dye your hair as long as you are past the first trimester,i still felt abit weird dying it in my third mind you.

try to buy one with low or no amonia and pref not bleach

Hair dye during pregnancy?

if u want to i would use one with less amonia that way the smell wont upset anything and if your still really worried call n ask your doctor thats what there for when u got any questions

good luck

Hair dye during pregnancy?

It is wise to reduce the toxic load on your body as much as possible during pregnancy. It used to be thought that the placenta was a barrier that kept all nasties away from the baby. It is now understood that many substances, including the chemicals in products such as hair dye can get through to the baby.

There is no scientific evidence that these chemicals harm the baby but if you are being prudent, it is best to avoid them especially in the first trimester when most of the development is taking place.

Hair dye during pregnancy?

Most hair dyes now are very low in toxins anyway but the reason it tends to not be recommended is that there is also no proof that it won't do any harm.

Another reason as well is that the hormonal changes in your body can effect your hair in different ways and even if you've used a dye before it could damage your hair or scalp in ways that it hasn't done in the past.

Should I dye my puppies hair?

While walking home yesterday an odd little puppy followed me home the odd thing is that she is only about 9weeks old and has DUCT TAPE around his muzzle. I brought him to the vet to remove the duct tape and since he was dirty and skinny I fed him and gave him a bath. since he was so gentle my parents let me keep him. Later I was when I was on the computer I read about dog fighting and how they would use puppies and small dogs as bait. Now I think there might be illegal dog fighting in my neighborhood. If I am seen with their bait that got away they might track my house down. Is this a good reason to dye his hair as long as it is safe and wont harm the puppy? An where can I buy hair dye that is safe for him?

Should I dye my puppies hair?

OK now you are getting a little carried away

You never ever dye a dogs hair that can kill her and I think it has already been threw enough abuse

Just be very careful as to where you take the pup don't take her any ware for a while unless to the vet then keep her in a dogie jacket

When You let her out put her in a Tshirt or something and do it in a place like your back yard where she wont be noticed and watch over her

Just keep her in Tshirts and Jackets and with in a few weeks she is going to change so much in looks you wont even recognize her yourself

But Put clothes on her Never ever Put any Chemicals on her that is so dangerous

Take Care

Anne

Should I dye my puppies hair?

Is there anyway you can hide the dog until it gets older? I'd also suggest registering the dog in your name and getting license tags so that you can prove the dog is yours if you had to. Perhaps if you can hide the dog until it grows some, they won't recognize the dog.

Should I dye my puppies hair?

I understand that you want to dye your puppies hair, but like any dye its not permanant. Dont dye your puppies hair just watch him very carefully so no one sees him. Go to a different neighborhood to walk him. Hair Dye is niether safe or a good idea. You see it in poodles but its still not good and they are mostly adult dogs. It would be harmful for puppies.

Should I dye my puppies hair?

Are you serious? Don't dye your puppies fur. It's weird and will probably make him sick (even if it says it's safe). I've never heard of this and would never recommend it.

Should I dye my puppies hair?

good on you for doing that, i mean saving a disstressed puppies life. i dont think dying the puppies fur would be a good thing

Should I dye my puppies hair?

I don really think u should punish ur dog by dying his hair...maybe let it grow! I think you should tell the police about your theory.....

Should I dye my puppies hair?

No!

Like the dog fighters would even give a crap about one bait dog getting loose and in the back of my mind why would they duct tape a puppies mouth. Troll.

Should I dye my puppies hair?

no

Should I dye my puppies hair?

People who fight dogs should be shot. Keep your new puppy inside to keep him safe.

Should I dye my puppies hair?

if you think there is illegal dog fighting in your neighborhood you should report it so animal control can start investigating.. as for dying your dog's hair... cant help you there. i wouldn't do it... cause dye fades so eventually the poor thing will still be recognized.

Should I dye my puppies hair?

You need to report the dog fighting before you even consider dying the dog's hair.

If you wish to disguise your dog, ask you vet what he suggests. There may be more options than you think.

Should I dye my puppies hair?

They won't look for him, and if they did, you get their names, addresses and report them to the police and Animal Services.

Do NOT give them that dog, he's obviously been abused and will be more abused if they get him back, I doubt they care enough to look for him.

As to dying his hair, I suspect he's had enough misery, just be good to him and hide him if you have to.

Report these people for dog fighting - have the courage to protect this little dog if you know that is what he was for - don't give him back, whatever you do.

Should I dye my puppies hair?

If you really want to dye your dog's hair, then go for it. :)

This will not make your dog really sick.

I used to dye my poodle-terrier's hair in the summer when she was younger.

Boil 5 cups of water in a stainless steel pot on the stove top. When water comes to a boil, add 4 to 6 packages of Kool-Aid or another very similar sugarless drink mix. Continue boiling it for a around 3 to 5 minutes. Turn it off and take it off the burner and let it cool (or warm).

When its warm or cool, put on tight rubber or latex gloves. Put your dog in a small tub, or sink (with the plug in it).

Pour the Kool-Aid dye on your dog bit by bit, on diffrent places of the dog's body to make sure that he or she is all covered/soaked in it. Rub it into the dog's fur after each time you pour it on, or as you pour it on.

Have someone hold open a garbage bag, and put the dog in it with it's face sticking out of it. Hold the dog in the bag for up to 20 minutes (the longer the better). Time goes by fast if you're watching a TV show while your holding it.

When time is up, put the dog back in the sink or tub (with no plug in it) and rinse the dog until the water runs clear. Dry the dog off, and let it dry. The dog should/will be the color of the Kool-Aid that you used.

The dog's skin will not be harmed in any way.

If its a fuzzy poodle type of dog, than you should also give him a hair cut. Just trim the fur on his ears, and snout, that will make him hard to recognize.

Should I dye my puppies hair?

Sorry, not a good enough reason for me. There are lots of dogs and puppies that look similar. Get a leash and collar, find a name and enjoy your puppy.

If someone hassles you about the puppy, tell the police, humane society, k9 control.....no shortage of people in a position to help. Infact, why not tell them now, so if there is a problem down the road they will know what you are talking about.

Should I dye my puppies hair?

Thanks for saving the puppy, there should be more people out there like you.

just get it tagged and registered in your name. Don't let the dog outside unattended. Keep an eye out for strange people. drop a note to your local police office.

don't dye him. it's not really good for adults, and certainly not for puppies.

Should I dye my puppies hair?

You should not dye the dog fur at all. Permanent dye is not good for human hair much less an animal! It would be best to report any dog fighting to the local police and the animal control department for your city. Keep an eye on your dog and walk it in another neighborhood when needed.

Should I dye my puppies hair?

Don't dye your puppies hair. If you seriously think there is dog fighting going on in your neighborhood, contact the ASPCA and they will look into it. As others have said, get the dog liscenced in your name. I doubt that once you've cleaned the dog up and he's gained some weight that anyone will be able to recognize him. I think you are safe!

P.S. Bless you for taking in a puppy like this and giving it a loving home!!

Hair dye - dark?

I have naturally brown hair but I want to dye it darker, every time I try it seems to fade and go medium brown again. Why is this and what can I do about it?

Hair dye - dark?

Maybe you are washing your hair too soon or too much. After you color it wait a few days before you wash it.If you wash your hair alot that will deff cause it to fade.Make sure you use color protecting shampoo.I like redken and matrix. If your in the sun alot its always good to use a hair product with an SPF in it.If your hair still continues to fade I would say go to a salon and find out what is causing your hair to fade.

Hair dye - dark?

You may find your hair is porus. Has it been previously coloured? If it has or the condition isn't too great the hair can also be more porus. This can make the hair fade more.

Also, you didn't say which type of hair colour you have used, permanent, quasi or semi. Both a semi and quasi are designed to fade, this is what reduces the regrowth.

Hope this is of some help. If you want to add some more detial please do and I'll check your question again a bit later.

Also, what shampoo are you using? Use one for colour treated hair and if you can affore it, you should try a professional one. Works out better value in the long run.

Hair dye - dark?

You need to get a fixture. Ask your local hairdresser.

Does anyone know the best home dye to dye your hair blonde?

Does anyone know the best home dye to dye your hair blonde? I have naturally dark hair but i already have a full head of blonde highlightes in my hair. Does anyone know a good hair dye that could make my hair blonde and if so can you tell me please?!! Thanks

Does anyone know the best home dye to dye your hair blonde?

Best just to bleach it completely and then dye it the color you want it.

Does anyone know the best home dye to dye your hair blonde?

Personally, I would go get it professionally done. If you dont, dying your whole head blonde can turn into a mess, in other words it may not turn out to be 'blonde', instead a reddish auburn color. It's not worth the trouble. Just my opinion.

What hair dye can I use that has no ammonia or bleach?

I want to dye my hair, but I don't want my hair to fall out.

One that I can buy at the store.

Brand please.

What hair dye can I use that has no ammonia or bleach?

Farouk, or Wella Magma but these are only ones you can get done in the salon. Sorry. The ones on the market I can't recommend because I don't personally believe in their product. Number one, the color charts are not helpful because everyone's hair is different with different undertones and such, so two people who have med. brn. hair could end up with a completely different result. Hair colorists and stylists are trained to mix color so that it reacts with the hair's natural highlights and undertones to create the color the client and stylist want. Most store brands don't do that or I wouldn't answer so many questions here about how to fix store color gone bad. Call around salons and find one that uses them and compare prices. Its worth the price and effort in the long run.

What hair dye should i use?

Ok, I want reallly realllly dark black hair. Right now it's just brown. Which hair dye from like wal-mart or somewhere like that should i use? I want it to last a long time and be able to wash it. I need help soooooon.

What hair dye should i use?

This one leaves your hair super black and gorgeously sexy!

Clairol Hydrience http://img.classiccloseouts.com/images_1...

It is cheap too if you buy it at walmart about 5$ sometimes plus don't forget to save the coupon that it comes with. for the next time you buy some you can save at least a 50 cents or more.

I bought the real expensive kind (loreal paris) but it didn't last me. It washed away in a few weeks. I was sad! So try the Hydrience. A lot of hairstylist have told me not to use any of these either. They actually told me to avoid them from stores and just go to sally's beauty supply or a place that sells hair salon stuff.

Revlon (Doesn't last washes out too fast), Garnier (same)

Also Avoid these me and all the women that I know color our hair so we have experience

I always end up going back to the sexy black hair color.

You can wash your hair and it still last a long time.

Good Luck I bet you will look hot with black hair

Go to a stylist and have them color your hair...Redken is the best color.

What hair dye should i use?

Use a natural hair die,if possible.

Make sure theres no led, very bad for the head.

What hair dye should i use?

First of all, try to realize that black hair dye is the hardest to reverse, so remember it is a commitment. It is much easier to go darker than it is lighter. Plain old simple Nice N' Easy will work but after trying just about all brands, I think Feria by Loreal is the best. It really does give prettier results.

What hair dye should i use?

instead of a hair dye.

try a hair blackening shampoo (powdered).

put it in a tiny bowl.

then put a little water in it.

apply it to your hair like a normal hair dye. :)

this one is really cool.

tesed and proven effective.

it can make your hair super shiny too.

What hair dye should i use?

If your going for black hair or blue black.

Schwarzkopf Blue Black (or black) PERMANENT hair dye, will not come out your hair. It doesn't fade fast. Lasts forever.

You will be able to wash it and you may see dye come out but its not a lot. It seems alot but isn't.

The only thing you'll notice, is your regrowth as the dye literally stays.

Well it is permanent.

What hair dye should i use?

find something that is labeled "permanent" and does not have a blue base in it if you are trying for a natural look. i can't suggest a specific brand because i don't use the same ones every time. rather, i have a feel for how my hair reacts to dye as compared to the examples that come on the sides of the boxes. if i were to recommend any brand it would be manic panic nyc(u can find them online) but i use that for "unnatural" colors (like green).

What hair dye should i use?

You should go to a salon the trouble with box color is that there are soooo many things that can affect the outcome like base color to what you use on you hair or have used to the condition of your hair. I can not even begin to tell you how many people had to pay me 55+ dollors an hour spanning over 2 3 days because they either did a home bleach kit or colored their hair Black...

How do you get red hair dye completly out your hair?

Go to the salon. You really need to have a professional fix it. You will end up with no hair or very damaged hair in the end if you try to fix it yourself.

How do you get red hair dye completly out your hair?

The best thing to do is just dye it gradually darker and darker. You can't make dramatic color changes. That's like people who expect to go from black to blonde. Ain't happenin'.

How do you get red hair dye completly out your hair?

You can grow it out, but you obviously knew that already. You should probably get it done professionally if it is really bothering you that much. You could shave your head too (like Britney Spears).

How do you get red hair dye completly out your hair?

The bleache you buy at the store is not as strong as the bleache used in a salon. Stick to this quote .... STORE BOUGHT COLOR IS LIKE A BOX OF CHOCOLATE, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOUR GONNA GET!!!.. Thats why professionals are professionals, let them take care of it. AND DONT PUT GREEN COLOR IN YOUR HAIR, YOU'LL HAVE GREEN HAIR. Try a cool tonal color.

How do you get red hair dye completly out your hair?

No way over the counter products are going to help you. They are just going to damage your hair. You really need to go to a professional.

How do you get red hair dye completly out your hair?

I would recommend using a hair dye remover from Sally Beauty Supplies. I had brown hair and wanted to back to blonde, well when I dyed my hair blonde it came out red and orange due to a bad bottle of hair dye. I went to the Supplies store and that's what they recommend. The kit took all of it out and more. The color I ended up with was a light ash blonde and no red in sight

How do you get red hair dye completly out your hair?

try using clarifying shampoo...if you used it everyday it will slowly remove the dye out of your hair....it's meant to remove all the buildup... ie. conditioners, mousse, gel, hairspray, dyes....etc

this happened to my girlfriend while she was visiting on her vacation, she didn't realize the shampoo i provided would do this to her hair....after two weeks her hair on top of her head was all gray hair...it had removed all the dye out...she has been gray since she was 23

hi I'm hear dresser use the loryal no.8.1 and any Cynde have no .1 its work and remove all the red hear and if you need any help my tel no. 0785362254

How do you get red hair dye completly out your hair?

I have had RED RED in my hair before and all i did was go to a hair store, like sally's and get a little bottle that says red out or orange out depending on how much red you have in you hair and its your a blonde brunette or whatever . but i wouldn't suggest bleaching it because it will either pull red even more, pull a pink, or just strip and fry your hair i would say go for a darker color for now to over power the redness

How do you get red hair dye completly out your hair?

I had this experience several years ago when my hair was a dark auburn, but my real hair color is ash blond. I went to a salon and they did a peroxide wash to help remove it, and it came out a little brassy, but not too bad . However, I was unhappy with this so I bought a haircolor close to my natural one, a medium ash blond, and because my hair was now lighter, the haircolor totally covered everything and blended with the roots. Be careful, I wouldn't try the all over bleach thing by yourself because you could have some serious breakage-don't go the manic panic route! It should be professionally done. Good luck!

Hair dye question?

if i was to dye my hair black ( for a guy ) and then just do a tiny purple streak in the top

how would i do that??

Hair dye question?

Dye the hair black first, then do the purple streak after that...dependant on what your hair colour is aswell....

sometimes i'd suggest getting the hairdresser to do it, as blacks quite a hard colour to come off if you catch it around ur hairline, neck etc...

If you do get any around ur face then use a little bit of milk on cotton wool right away akaline will get rid of it......but it has to be right away.....

Hair dye question?

Separate the hair that you want to dye black from the hair you want to dye purple. The section that you want purple is going to need to be pretty light before you put the purple color on, so if you want a bright purple color, you should bleach it first. BUT before you bleach it, put the black dye on the rest of your hair first. Black dye is really strong and if it even gets on the separate section of hair when you rinse it out, it could color it. After you've left the black dye on your hair and rinsed it out, start with the bleaching/purple.

If you do need to bleach, be careful! Read the directions carefully. It can easily damage your hair.

To prevent black dye from getting all over your skin, put vaseline around your neckline and ears. It'll protect from the dye.

Hope I helped! Good luck!

Hair dye and pregnancy..............?

Is it okay to dye my hair if im about 4 weeks pregnant?

Hair dye and pregnancy..............?

You will be completly fine. you just have to stay in a very well ventilated area. I did it while i was pregnant and my child is just fine.

Hair dye and pregnancy..............?

no it's not ok

Hair dye and pregnancy..............?

IT is not good to put the color directly on the scalp. It is best to foil your hair instead.

Hair dye and pregnancy..............?

it's rare that something would happen,

but there have been cases in which the dyes have absorbed into the circulation of your blood.

so it's not 100% safe, but it's rare that it would affect your child.

good luck! (:

Hair dye and pregnancy..............?

It depends on the chemicals in the dye. Call the Customer Service number on the box of dye and ask them, they can tell you if their product is safe to use during pregnancy.

Aside from that, you would definitely want to dye your hair in a well-ventilated room.

You might find, after all that, the dye doesn't want to stay in your hair. Those hormones can really affect the way the chemicals act.

Hair dye and pregnancy..............?

I am 7 months right now and have dyed my hair through my whole pregnancy and me and baby fine. I only do highlights and not very many. Make sure that whoever does your hair knows you are pregnant, I think that they get less close to your scalp. And make sure you are in a well ventilated area. TIP: once you have a baby you will have less time and probably cash to keep up your hair color so this might be a good time to start to change your hair color to an easier color to upkeep, something closer to your natural hair color for example so that you can go more time between dye times or something you can touch up at home. Just a little tip :)

Hair dye and pregnancy..............?

Yes it is absolutley fine!

i actually went and asked my hairdresser about this because i change my hair frequently!

she said that as long as you do it in a well ventilated area then your are fine, but to realise that some peoples hair freaks out during pregnany so it might react differently than normal to the colouring process.

alot of people say no because they think that its going to seep into your scalp and then get into your blood stream and go to your womb and then get to the baby but NO THAT DONT HAPPEN! or my bubba would be multi coloured!

good good luck and if you are worried just go ask your hairdresser

Hair dye and pregnancy..............?

they say no but i am 38 weeks and did mine about 2 weeks ago it is realy ok you should be fine but you follow your gut

Hair dye and pregnancy..............?

its ok trus everybody dies there hair when there pregnant i died my hair when i was like 3 or 4 months pregnant =} just be sure to be in a ventilated area you should open the door or die it in you back yard where you can get air very easily. so what do you want a girl or a boy or are you unsured. well im having a boy well take care !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hair dye..which one works best?

Ok so im tryin to figure out what brand is best as far as hair dye goes.Which one would last longer for those of you who have experimented?

Hair dye..which one works best?

On the shelves in a drugstore I would go with Revlon Colorist.

Hair dye..which one works best?

Loreal Preference or Excellence

Hair dye..which one works best?

Most of the Lo'real hair dyes work alright, I personally prefer Garnier Fructis, it stays the color you want it to be for the longest before it fades.

It also, honestly, really depends on your hair type, mine is super thick and it takes something strong to take the color

Hair dye..which one works best?

im not syre wats more long lasting but i know 4 sure tht any hair dye dryes ur hair out and black hair dye makes ur hair look healthier ;) hope tht helps

Hair dye..which one works best?

This depends a lot on what you consider "best", what you're trying to achieve and what the conditon of your hair is now (i.e. natural color, ever used color before, covering gray, dramatic change desired...?)

Some very basic guidelines:

DO NOT apply any type of drugstore haircolor over hair that has been treated with henna!!! Even if it seems the henna has faded, the chemical compounds in it that will ruin your new color are still present. Henna has to be grown out/cut off.

Level 3 or "permanent" colors (eg Feria, Colorsilk) will last the longest, meaning you will have visible roots as your hair grows unless you match your current hair shade very closely.

If your hair is naturally dark (coffee brown to black) DO NOT try to go much lighter using an over the counter hair color product. "Retail" hair dyes do not have the level of peroxide necessary to lift dark colored hair beyond a hideous, brassy orange shade!

If your hair has been chemically lightened, be careful if applying a dark(er) color. Try to choose a warm shade (gold or red based) to avoid green or violet discoloration to your hair.

Any shade of red will fade most quickly and requires the most upkeep.

My hair is very dark brown naturally %26amp; I have had literally every color, from platinum blonde to royal blue to tasteful auburn. I color at home and at a salon, depending on the process, but am an avid fan of home experimentation. Wish I knew more about what you're after specifically because it's hard not to write a book here...

Does anyone know the best home dye to dye your hair blonde?

Dark hair dye on pine wood?! how do i get it off!!?

My friend is a hairdresser and came to mine to do my hair the other day, the problem is there is now dark hair dye stains on the back of my chair!! Any ideas how to get it off? I've tried, hairspray, stain remover and nail polish remover as well as normal cleaning products!

Thanks

Dark hair dye on pine wood?! how do i get it off!!?

you could get some hair dye remover from a hair supply store, or ask in a hairdressers if they are feeling generous just to give you a little bit and then rub rub rub good luck

Dark hair dye on pine wood?! how do i get it off!!?

Sand paper! Pine is very soft and will absorb just about anything. Good luck.

Dark hair dye on pine wood?! how do i get it off!!?

Well you really dont get it off

Dark hair dye on pine wood?! how do i get it off!!?

Afraid to see you probably cant get it off.Only option would be to sand down that bit and then revarnish

sorry

Dark hair dye on pine wood?! how do i get it off!!?

You are probably going to have to sand the stain out then re-varnish/re-oil or whatever finish the wood has.

Dark hair dye on pine wood?! how do i get it off!!?

Sand paper is the only way if it's untreated pine, if its varnished then the best way may be again to sand and revarnish or perhaps the easiest would be just to stain the rest of the pine furniture the same way, creating a unique look!!!

Dark hair dye on pine wood?! how do i get it off!!?

I'm afraid you cant unless you sand it off as the previous answerer said.

Dark hair dye on pine wood?! how do i get it off!!?

If it is just on the surface then sand it down.

If it has sunk in I think you are a bit stuck...... you could try to bleach it but you may make things even worse.

How does your frined get hair dye out of her clothes? Try that?

Dark hair dye on pine wood?! how do i get it off!!?

Have you tried steel wool?

Or you might need to get some sandpaper, sand it down completely and re-finish it.

Dark hair dye on pine wood?! how do i get it off!!?

Eek! Not too much that can be done about this... if it is a wood chair then it probably absorbed the dye much like it would absorb wood stain. If your chairs are varnished then you can try sanding them lightly all over to see if you can get down past the stain and then coat them with a fresh layer of varnish... in the future you should use a plastic chair, or cover your chairs with a plastic bag and place a towel that you don't mind ruining over it...

Dark hair dye on pine wood?! how do i get it off!!?

I've done that too, it won't come off. All you can do is try sanding it, and re finishing it.

Dark hair dye on pine wood?! how do i get it off!!?

you will probably need to rub it down with a fine sandpaper and the re wax the chair, make sure you rubin the direction of the grain

Dark hair dye on pine wood?! how do i get it off!!?

try wire wool and white spirit

Can I dye my hair brown if it is red and brown at the moment?

I had the bottom section of my hair dyed red about 6 weeks ago and the top part dyed dark brown (I am light brown/dirty blonde naturally). I now want to just have one clolour but dont know what will happen if I try to dye it all brown now. Will the red go a different colour??? The red is semi perm colour if this helps.

Can I dye my hair brown if it is red and brown at the moment?

You might want to wait a few more weeks until the red is faded a little more drastically. Otherwise if you try to dye your hair all one color then you will end up with different browns on the top and bottom...

Can I dye my hair brown if it is red and brown at the moment?

well you might have to wait till the semi perm color comes out. other than that you will need to get a toner remover from a beauty supply store. It will only take out the toner you put in your hair. You can then dye your hair any color you want

Can I dye my hair brown if it is red and brown at the moment?

Yes, it will be different shades. You have to wait until the semi-perm dyed part fades totally out

Another Kool-Aid hair dye (highlighting) question. Help?

My mom won't let me get real hair dye because it damages hair. I haven't talked to her about using Kool-Aid yet, but which one is healthier for highlighting hair?

On a side not: I need to convince my mom to let me highlight my hair. Help ]:?

Another Kool-Aid hair dye (highlighting) question. Help?

First off I tried the whole "temporary kool-aid trick" and it took forever to get out of my hair, Not only that but i smelt like kool aid 24/7. Talk to your mom and ask to go to a professional. You seem young, and she's right you don't want to go screwing around with your hair, trust me i dyed my hair at 11, and YIKES.

Another Kool-Aid hair dye (highlighting) question. Help?

just be like mom either you get me a good dye job or i do a crappy one

Another Kool-Aid hair dye (highlighting) question. Help?

You know i have been coloring my hair for years, i went to beauty school so i know what you can tell her. there are colors that stop processing when they are done. You can find them at like sallys beauty supply. And coloring hair actually thickens the hair shaft. i have colored my hair 3 times with in 24 hours and my hair didnt fall out.

What color of blonde should i use to dye my hair with?

L'Oreal Creme is the best over the counter

Use one of their Golden Blondes, they are beautiful

Brown wash out hair dye?

I have light brown hair and I'm thinking of temporarily dying it a medium / chestnut color. When hair dye starts to fade does it cause bad roots? My color isn't going to be drastically different but I hate the look of hair with uneven hair colors, will that happen as I wash it out? Also, whats a good type to buy for temporary, like what length of time

thanks!

Brown wash out hair dye?

Natural Instincts by Clairol.

This is a temporary rinse that gradually fades over the course of 6-8 weeks. A temporary rinse will fade evenly from root to tip.

I need hair dye help PLEASE!?

Well I really want to dye my hair. I have light brown hair and my color just doesn't do anything to really make me sparkle. I've always looked better with lighter hair so I'm wanting to go blonde. I have light skin... I don't want anything LIGHT blonde just something like a dark blonde. But im sooo confused. Could you guys help me pick out a color. I would love a picture of it. Thanks!

I need hair dye help PLEASE!?

Try loreal color pulse first. Its availible at drugstores and Meijer. They have every color. Its temp. Not perm. So until you decide, mess around with thoes until you actually do decide.

I need hair dye help PLEASE!?

don't dye your entire head. just get a few lighter streaks. go to your hair stylist, they always have a ton of color choices for you to pick from and they know what will look best on your hair. good luck!

I need hair dye help PLEASE!?

probly any type of dark blonde

I need hair dye help PLEASE!?

I really don't think blonde is your best bet. And I mean, really.

Here are some suggestions for what might be better for you....

http://www.clairol.com/naturalinstincts/...

I like color 11G best.

I need hair dye help PLEASE!?

I love Garnier 100% color. Try this site and it has different shades of blondes. www.garnier100color.com

I need hair dye help PLEASE!?

I would try to go towards a more strawberry blonde with strawberry highlights, because it's different and not many people have it and will make you **sparkle**. I don't know what you look like but if you have a pink/red skin pigment, just go with a more natural blonde, but if your not, strawberry blonde would probably look nice and jazz everything up.

here's a website for a color chart. Shades of strawberry are numbers : 27 and 19. It doesn't show the hightlights.

http://www.baronunlimited.com/funwigs/co...

This other website has one shade of it under REDS:

http://www.wiggoddess.com/exclusivelyyou...

I need hair dye help PLEASE!?

Medium golden blonde highlights would look great. Tell your stylist you want blonde highlights and you want her to show you some of the blonde shades, then pick one and go for it! Do not color your whole head blonde because it will be too drastic of a change. Sorry I don't have a picture.

What Hair dye for dark roots?

I have bleached blonde hair with light brown roots.

I cannot put the bleach on my roots as it will burn my scalp so i want to know a good hair dye to buy for my roots that wont make them go ginger.

This is for my girlfriend btw

What Hair dye for dark roots?

go to a beuty supply store and in the hair dye section they have bottles of white cream that you use with hair dye colors to cosomizr your color but it would be safe to use on its own because it lightens it without adding color like reg. hair dyes do

What Hair dye for dark roots?

i have dark hair and i have the same problem

i have tried like every hair dye ever made and this one is the best:

garnier nutrisse

I have light brown hair, im not sure how to dye it...?

maybe darker underneath or bright blonde bits in it im not sure, anyone know any sites with pictures of everyday partly dyed hair? i only want one colour in it atm and not really outrageous stuff either thankkks

I have light brown hair, im not sure how to dye it...?

http://www.makeoversolutions.com/

You can go to this website and put your photo in and see what you like on yourself before you do it.

I would suggest maybe just highlights in with your natural hair color. If you do want to die your natural hair color then do highlights I would only suggest to go one shade darker. For the highlight color I would suggest a medium blond shade.

I have light brown hair, im not sure how to dye it...?

consult a hair dresser, it's the best thing to do

try browsing around redken.com

Good store-bought hair dye?

Something that won't dry my (already dried out) hair too much? Going from a brunette that went blondish back to a darker brown/ burgandy.....

Good store-bought hair dye?

Revlon (Colorsilk) is actually really good and it's one of the cheapest ones. The conditioner that it comes with is amazing and there's enough to use for several washings. It's always made my hair extra soft and smooth after using it. L'Oreal is pretty good if you're looking to do color plus highlights, but the cost is quite a bit higher. That one also comes with a conditioner that works pretty well. After you color your hair, buy a special shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair. It will keep your hair color looking better longer and probably will keep it from getting quite as dried out.

Good store-bought hair dye?

nutrisse

Good store-bought hair dye?

well dont get red lol well i highlighted my hair red like last sunday and i dont like it that much b/c it turned out to be very bright red like stop sign red lol so im trying to get it out lol

Wat hair dye actually works best?

aight look, every time i dye my hair it only dyes the roots .... ive used revlon colorsilk and garnier 100% and both only died my roots.

Wat hair dye actually works best?

loreal is the best

Wat hair dye actually works best?

clairol

Wat hair dye actually works best?

try dying it at a salon the colour is so much better

Wat hair dye actually works best?

I use garnier nutrisse it's really good and i've never had problems with it. It looks natural and it also says it works on grays.

Wat hair dye actually works best?

The problem your having is because you need to strip the hair of color where it has been colored BEFORE you try to color over it. Color over color just makes darker color. Most hair dyes you get at the drugstore will only "color" new growth, or virgin hair. They are not formulated to strip AND color at the same time.

Try a salon supply store like Sally's Beauty Supply (prices aren't that much more than drugstores), and ask for a stripper to remove the existing color, then ask them for a good conditioning color to use after the stripper. By the way, the stripper probably will make your hair a bit orange-ish, but that's normal. The color you put on after that will tone down the orange, and will cling to the hair very well.

Follow up with a deep conditioner designed to lock in color and help keep it true.

What is the best brightest red hair dye for brown hair?

On natural medium brown hair which permanent hairdye have you personally used yourself or on someone else that actually changes the haircolor and makes it LOOK red. I use a 40 volume developer with Loreal HiColor (especially made to use on brown hair) and have had some results but I don't know of all the best red dyes out there. I know they fade and that's not my big concern as I take care of my hair and don't wash daily to make it last. My main issue is I want my hair to look red, not brown red or auburn red. And, I want it to be bright like a cherry red not orangey or copper. I know about bleaching first and I'm not going to do that at this stage. So, if you know of any good brands and shades of hair dye that really gave you a 'noticeably' red color on your brown hair, let me know!

What is the best brightest red hair dye for brown hair?

Bleach your hair really well and then dye it a brighttt red.

What is the best brightest red hair dye for brown hair?

I like Garnier 100% Color for red. Also - try Punky Color for a cherry red...available at Hot Topic.

What is the best brightest red hair dye for brown hair?

Try the Nutrisse products....they have one that really turns brown hair red, bright cherry red!! I think it is called Pomagrante.

What is the best brightest red hair dye for brown hair?

use color for afriacn american hair that holds more in your hair and longer or go to a salon

I wanna dye my hair dark red w/ purple undertone?

what product should i use?

my hair is currently dark brown?

also, my skin is golden/naturally tan, so i don't know if red would suit me?

i need produc that i could dye it myself at home!!!

how much should a hair dye normally cost at salons?

thanks!!!

I wanna dye my hair dark red w/ purple undertone?

I think that your warm undertones would look washed out with red hair.

I wanna dye my hair dark red w/ purple undertone?

salons prices will range from the lengenth of your hair but its going to cost 35$ and up depending if you do your whole heads with highlights or just the top layer of your hair . as for the color red i say you go for it girlie =)! the red tone will give your tan complexion even a lovlier glow and the purple undertone will give it spunk!

I wanna dye my hair dark red w/ purple undertone?

ewwww please dont... i'd put some golden highlights into your dark brown hair but make it look natural...

I wanna dye my hair dark red w/ purple undertone?

if you have a sally beauty supply store, i'd go there. i believe you can get hair dye for under $12. i think thats the most expensive i've seen for color like that. btw, i think dark red with purple would look so awesome. i just wish i could see how it comes out!!!

Is there temporary hair dye that comes out in a few washes?

like a black hair dye that i can wash out if i dont like it. I have blonde hair and i just want to experiment with different colors and such but Im not doing anythign permanent. anyone know any temp hair dyes that last like a few washes.. like 3 or so?

Is there temporary hair dye that comes out in a few washes?

They are called rinses...

Is there temporary hair dye that comes out in a few washes?

IF YOU GO TO A BEAUTY SUPPLY STORE SUCH AS SALLY, THEY HAVE SOME

Is there temporary hair dye that comes out in a few washes?

yes

Is there temporary hair dye that comes out in a few washes?

yep walmart or anywhere like that has some. its a level 1. just read the box to make sure its not permanent

Is there temporary hair dye that comes out in a few washes?

im a hairdresser of ten years if you put black or dark brown temporary hair dye over blonde hair trust me it will be permanant!

temporary dye does not mean it washes out. It means it doesn't strip or lighten hair it only can make hair darker, in most cases it stays around for about two to three months or in some cases until it grows out. The darker you go the longer the color hangs aroun.

How can you dye your hair white?

is there actually a produt that dyes hair white? like very old person white?

How can you dye your hair white?

Manic Panic makes a white hair dye. But as the first poster stated, you will probably have to bleach the heck out of your hair first. There are some instructions on the following webpage:

How can you dye your hair white?

Actually there is. You have to do a double process though. Bleach out to the lightest blonde possible then there is a new 'white' color you can get. I forget who makes it, but it is professional color. So, you would have to call all the salons around and explain to them what you want. Maybe take along a pic of the result if you can find it. Heres a link so you can try.

How can you dye your hair white?

make your hair bonde and bleach it twice

How can you dye your hair white?

If you wait long enough, you won't NEED dye! Go to a Theatrical Supplies shop and check-out the goodies they carry.

At a pinch, talcum powder will work in low-light conditions - but, unless you want to make an audience laugh, don't stamp your feet or violently swing your head... the resultant halo looks like REALLY bad dandruff or a burst snow-dome!!!

True. I did it myself once when appearing on stage as an aged butler. The audience was restless and the workshop presentation had pretty-much flopped. So... I spread happiness and joy around the theatre, looking like a crazed coke addict complete with his own 'snow' cloud. The audience liked it but the rest of the cast wanted to lynch me for upstaging them... sigh... what we do for a laugh...

XL1 Gel Lightening Kit - Bleach Blonde

I think this is what you mean, good luck, hope you achive the results! x

How can you dye your hair white?

There is not color that will dye your hair white. Only bleach and tone, which won't really make it white white, and will will feel like wet marshmallow when you wash it and you'll more than likely burn your scalp with the amount of processes it will take to get it that white.

Huge hair dye problem!?

heres what happened,my natural hair color was light brown,so i tried 2 dye it blonde, and it came out ginger and white with a little blonde.an i would like 2 know what would happen if i tried 2 dye it jet black, what would happen.please help

Huge hair dye problem!?

wait for awhile before dying again!

Huge hair dye problem!?

my natural hair color was dark brown,i died it jet black and i looked like a whole diffrant person!111 (bad way of a diffrant person) so just let all the hair color grow out of your hair and if ur really just dyiend to change ur hair color to a diffrant color dont do it cuzz you want look your self!! just stay natural!!!

Huge hair dye problem!?

FIRST OF ALL, the colors of how you want to dye your hair, you should've asked someone that was a beautician to do it.

so that it would have been all one color, there was a possiblity that you needed to bleach it first. but if you decide to go jet black, for god's sake do me a favor!! get someone else to do it for you and your darker look will happen, all one color. believe that, I was a beautician once. ( if I spelled it wrong ) than Im' in a hurry. thanks.

Huge hair dye problem!?

Your hair will turn green don't dye it black. Get a dark brown.

Other wise you will have green hair.

Huge hair dye problem!?

Whatever you do don't go black, because like the saying, you'll never go back!!!!!

Sounds to me you might need to get your hair rescued by a proff hair stylist. What happened is your hair didn't take to the bleach and peroxide or you used a blonde shade that was more of a warm tone. Next time you go blonde try to use a shade that is more ash and cool.

You probably shouldn't dye your hair right away since it might cause more damage. I recommend you tone it down with a more subdued shade of dark blonde or light brown next time.

What is the best hair dye? Grey coverage - often application?

I have to dye my hair every 4-6 weeks and looking for a good hair dye that does not damage my hair. I have brown hair and lost of grey. No henna suggestion please.

What is the best hair dye? Grey coverage - often application?

There is a healthy, gentle, hair product called Naturtint. It has active vegetable ingredients. There are four categories of Naturtint:

-semi permanent: coers grey hair up to 30% and it washes out

-tone on tone: covers grey hair up to 50% that lasts up to 20 washes

-permanent with ammonia: covers grey hair up to 100%

-permanent without ammonia: covers grey hair up to 100%

And what's so cool, its tested under dermatological control and is against animal testing! It works really well.

What is the best hair dye? Grey coverage - often application?

just get loreal of something that you see in infomercials. good luck with the hair tip.

What is the best hair dye? Grey coverage - often application?

I have been using Baigon, not sure about the spelling, for long time. So far no problem to me. I don't remember the name of that type, however it is coming as paste in two tubes the equal quantity to be mixed together. Please try this.

What is the best hair dye? Grey coverage - often application?

If your already dying your hair that much i would suggest using a wash out. Browns usually start to fade away anyways the more you wash it, but a semi-permanent does not contain any harsh chemicals that will wind up frying your hair. L'Oreal is pretty good. But just about any of the name brand types of hair color are the same. I would steer away from the cheap stuff though they usually mess up. And if you try to go from light to dark stay away from products that have ash in them. They mask the hair either green or gray, and sense you are trying to cover some grey i wouldn't do that. Good Luck!

Questions about hair dye?

If I have really light blonde hair, whatcolor should I dye my eye brows?? You cant see my eye brows because they are so light. I want to dye them just so that you can see them, but still look natural, so people dont think that my hair is fake ( because it is natural )

Questions about hair dye?

Who cares who sees your eyebrows? Color over them with pencil, don't dye them, cause you actually haveto redye them. Cause eyebrows grow. Rather noticeably, too.

Questions about hair dye?

DONT DYE THEM. ELSE U WILL LOOK LIKE U HAVE NO EYEBROWS!

Dark eyebrows with light hair is awesome!

Is There a hair dye that will wash out besides spray color? If so where?

I wanted to dye my hair black for halloween but i don't want it to be permanent. I once thought that i heard of someone talking about a hair dye that would wash out when you take a shower but I can't find it. I know that there's that hair color spray but that stuff gets all over your clothes and i don't want that. PLEASE HELP AND FAST!!!!!!!!!!! Halloween is right around the corner.

Is There a hair dye that will wash out besides spray color? If so where?

Semi-permanent dye, washes out in about 18-25 washes. Also there stuff called sync's that wash out after about 2 weeks, nothing really that washes out after one day except for spray. Sorry...

Is There a hair dye that will wash out besides spray color? If so where?

if you go to your sylist or sally's beauty supply and get a semi-permanant hair color, that's a color that will wash out... they last for a while tho, about 4-6 weeks, but they fade out a little after each shampoo...

Is There a hair dye that will wash out besides spray color? If so where?

theres semi permanent dye but it can take a few days to wash out. either that or spray all i can think of hope i helped =S

Is There a hair dye that will wash out besides spray color? If so where?

Hi you can get 8 wash ones by nice and easy, savers and wikinsons have them if not they have the same hair dyes in the 24 wash ones, but no hair dye will wash out as soon as you wash your hair, if you get a colour that is darker than your normall colour then it will last longer that so many washes but it will wash out eventually. Black hair is really nice you might even grow to like it, as it shines like glass if you hair is healthy.

But if you dont like it then just wash hair with pantene as I find that this strips hair colour out very easy.

Have a good halloween !

Is There a hair dye that will wash out besides spray color? If so where?

you can get temporary color at sallys. it washes out the next washing. ask for TEMPORARY.

Is There a hair dye that will wash out besides spray color? If so where?

you would use a temporary dye. there's a few brands you can use. Diacolor, richesse color both manufactured by loreal last about 4-6 shampoos. or fanciful, which lasts 1-2 shampoos. the color of your hair and the porosity depends on how long the color will last. if your hair is a light blonde color the dark dye will last longer. but if your hair is brown color the dye should rinse easily. if the color doesnt rinse out within 2-3 shampoos use dawn dish soap as a shampoo and it will remove any temporary color.

Best brand of hair dye?

I wanna dye my hair from really dark brown(my natural color) to maybe a chocolate brown. what is the best brand of hair dye i could use to do this?

oh yea and i dont want anything too damaging too my hair.

thanxx!!!

Best brand of hair dye?

I just tried Natural Match by Loreal and Im in love with it. Level 3 permanent dyes tend to damage your hair the most, but its been a week and my hair is still incredibly soft and really shiny. The formula works with your natural hair tone and brightens your hair . I really recomend that you give this a try.

Best brand of hair dye?

Nutrissee..leaves hair super soft!

Best brand of hair dye?

Garnier 100 % colour is pretty good.

Best brand of hair dye?

I'd reccomend clairol hydrience. It's the only dark hair dye Ive used that doesnt stain my skin like the other brands tend to do when you use the dark colors.

Best brand of hair dye?

I love Loreal Feria. I've used that ever since it came out on the market.

When can I dye my hair again?

yes you can,, since it's demi and you want it dark, go ahead

When can I dye my hair again?

to be on the save side I would wait about 2 weeks but that's just me.

Question about hair dye....?

I just dyed my hair with this stuff that said permanate, but its only been like 2 weeks and its all out and I want to try a different dye, how lon should I wait before dying it again, if I dont wanna damage my hair?? I have heard 3 months.

Question about hair dye....?

just dye your hair again. with a diffrent brand of hair color... and when u wash your color or... use shampoo ..then wash that out... then put in conditionor... either the one from the box or yours... and get it in your hair real good then wrap your head in a towel and let the conditior sit for like 10 minutes... because heat is what makes the conditior work..

your hair shouldnt damage then.

Best Hair Dye?

Hello...I dyed my hair from a medium brown to a reddish burgundy color, and it faded within a week. The dye says it's permanent though. So I think I need to switch brands. What brand is the best for non fading? Oh, and if this helps, the brand I bought was Revlon.

Best Hair Dye?

I like Feria

Best Hair Dye?

punky color works. much better than manic panic

Best Hair Dye?

Any store bought brand is bad.. they all fade whether they say permanent or not..

Best Hair Dye?

Revlon is terrible..but it's cheap. The best I have found is Garnier Nutrisse. I am a natural bonlde and I've been dyeing my hair dark auburn for 15 years. I been using Garnier for the past 8 years and it's fabulous! It deep conditions and doesn't fade. Also, make sure you are using a shampoo and conditioner that are formulated for colour-treated hair. if you use regular shampp and conditioner on dyed hair, it will wash the colour right out. Stay away from Revlon and Clariol. Both are terrible. When it comes to hair dye, you really get what you pay for!

Best Hair Dye?

Hello! Go to Sally beauty supply store or another good beauty supply store and get color charm color and some 20 cream developer. Ask the people that work there if you need any help. They are licensed cosmetologists. Color charm works well on my hair and doesn't fade much at all.

Best Hair Dye?

garnier is a really good 1

Best Hair Dye?

don't buy those hair dying products from like.. walmart. get your hair professionally colored. sure it will cost more, but your hair will look %26amp; feel much better.

Best Hair Dye?

Any time you color your hair with red or burgundy it will fade quickly, even if it is permanent color. The best thing to do is go to Sally's and buy haircolor there. It is better quality than what you would get elsewhere. Sally's will sell to non-professionals. Try Wella color. If you use better quality color, it will last longer, but red always fades quickly. Also, always rinse your hair in cold water, or as cool as you can stand it - that helps the color last longer. And use a creamy shampoo, as opposed to a clear or clarifying shampoo. Clear shampoo strips the color out.

Best Hair Dye?

Its time to ditch all the box dyes that you buy at the store, go to your local beauty supply store and get a color there, you'll have a wider selection of colors and they dont fade out nearly as fast, just be sure to get a bottle of deveploer, volume 20 should be good, and if your not sure on which to buy, just ask a store clerk.

Best Hair Dye?

I suggest 2 u 2 go to a stylist or if it's too expensive try a hairstyling school. If you want to keep doing hair on your own then I suggest Nice and Easy it works so well I use it on my own hair and I'm a stylist .

Blue hair dye?

i have a black beard and i want to dye it blue temporarily. i cant find any blue hair dye in stores so does anyone know how to make it at home?

Blue hair dye?

Since your beard is already so dark, I doubt you'll be able to get much color to take unless you lighten it.

If you really wanted to try an at-home idea for temporary hair coloring, try kool aid. I know it sounds a little weird but sometimes it works. Just be careful though, because it can temporarily stain your skin.

Blue hair dye?

If it's just temporary your looking for , maybe you just try a blue hairspray - then the colour sits on top of the hairs - I don't think there is a temp way to 'dye' black hair blue - yu would have to bleach/lighten it first for any colour to show up . Try boots or costume/joke shops .

Blue hair dye?

Manic Panic comes in a variety of crazy colors. You will need to lighten your beard to get any effect though. You can find this kind of hair color at stores like Hot Topics. Find the K-Goth stores and you will find crazy hair color products.

Good luck!

HELP!! hair dye on polished floorboards?

My beautiful angels ( 3 and 21months) played fingerpainting with dark brown hair dye over the floor. the floor is polished boards.the stain left after wiping excess is dark yellowy colour. I tried Shannon Lush (queen of clean) idea of rubbing more dye on then adding shampoo it worked on the plastc chair and laminate but all it did to the floor was make the area where the stains are bigger. AAGGHH!!I sprayed hairspray on the clothes and even tried it on the floor(no luck).I also tried a little turps but did nothing. at the moment I have spread the whole area with shampoo until I hear from you guys!!

HELP!! hair dye on polished floorboards?

I'm a chemist, and I would suggest first trying full-strength Dawn dishwashing liquid. Spread it on very liberally, using a paper towel or dishcloth, and rub it in with a lot of elbow grease. Leave it for about 15 minutes, then, without removing any of the Dawn, apply more, again rubbing it in. If that seems to be working, keep doing it until the problem disappears. Then clean up the Dawn with paper towels, followed by water %26amp; paper towels. If that doesn't work, leave the Dawn on there overnight, and try more Dawn in the morning. If that still doesn't work, leave the Dawn on there ...and get some xylene from the hardware store (it's sold in like 1-qt cans...Home Depot carries it....probably about $5 for a quart.) and try soaking a rag with xylene and picking the Dawn up with the xylene-soaked rag and, hopefully, the hair dye will come up with that. If, not, try xylene alone, after picking the Dawn all up. If xylene doesn't work, take the BIG STEP and get some acetone from the hardware store (again, Home Depot carries it) and....well...acetone will remove the finish from the floor, and will almost certainly remove the dye along with the finish. If you're very, very careful, you can use a very small amount of acetone and work very delicately with, say, cotton swabs, and take off only a little finish and a lot of dye. But if you have to resort to acetone, you're probably looking at sandpaper, stain, and varnish afterward. Here's hoping the Dawn works!!!

HELP!! hair dye on polished floorboards?

Try this stuff called Goof Off. It comes in a spray bottle--spray it directly on the stain, and pray. It's taken permanent marker off sealed hardwood for me--and dried latex paint off the same hardwood as well.
