Used permanent hair dye to blond?

i used permanent hair dye 2 weeks ago and i would like to know if i can dye my bleach blond hair purple?

Used permanent hair dye to blond?

if u used a permanent hair dye to color your hair blonde, then its not bleach blonde. chances are you used a bleach to get your hair lighter.... usually aren't able to lift your natural hair color enough to get the bleach blonde look. but if you have blonde hair, you should have no problem putting purple in. HOWEVER be aware that if you did use a bleach, the purple WILL FADE out VERY quickly. try to strategically p;ace it if you are doing streaks so that it will not be hard to touch up when it fades out. its a good rule to wait at least 2 weeks between chemical processes on your hair to let it have time to re-coop... hope this helps!!! let me know if you have any more hair questions!!!

Used permanent hair dye to blond?

You can. Intense colors like that are only found in semi-permanent colors (unless they're intensifiers added to permanents). Be aware those colors fade out to a dingy grey. Use something like ShimmerLights (from Sallys) to get that out.

Dye black/expresso brown hair?

I have expresso brown/black hair and I want to dye it lighter. But I'm afraid that I might dye it the wrong color. I have a tan not too light or dark I would say medium-light and I have dark brown eyes. Any ideas for hair color? And also what hair dye should I use I'd just like to try it so a semi-permanent hair color would be best but any ideas are welcome. Thanx ~Nikki

Dye black/expresso brown hair?

If you want to go lighter, semi-permanent won't give you very good results. Semi-permanent hair die only coats the hair with color, so often times with dark hair, you can't even tell that u dyed it or it's just a small tint change.

If you want to go lighter, start out with a few shades lighter, if you don't like it you can buy another color and die over it. You shouldn't die your hair more then once a month because it will damage your hair, but as long as you don't make a habit of back to back dyeing you'll be OK.

The best way to die your hair is to go to a professional. They can adjust your color better then you can with a box dye. You also might want to consider just getting some highlights. Highlights cause less overall damage, and are more subtle. They can give the overall lighter appearance to the hair and also can be done in a variety of colors.

Dye black/expresso brown hair?

If your hair is more black or dark brown and you want to dye it lighter, You could try a medium brown or medium golden brown. I always use High Dimension. It is a good brand of hair color it is made by Revlon.

Dye black/expresso brown hair?

I would dye it brown. I had black hair and I dyed it blonde. That didn't work so well.

Dye black/expresso brown hair?

There is no way you can go lighter without using a permanent color. Unless you know what you are doing you need to see a professional. You have a lot of pigment in your hair and if you try to lighten at home you will likley end up with orange brassy color.

Dye black/expresso brown hair?

I have the same hair color you are describing. Honestly, I get the most compliments when I go to the salon and have a glaze put over my hair. This way it looks very healthy and super shinny.

Help with hair dye..please read if you have experience!?

Is there anything i can put or wash through my hair that will help dye colour ease out a little.? I dyed my hair last night and i really do not like it and on the packet it says it last for 6-8 weeks assuming you wash it once a week . I am not asking for something magical thats going to get it out completely but just something natural (no products) .......EXAMPLE...bi-carb soda or something????please help me

Help with hair dye..please read if you have experience!?

try http://www.hairdye.com or try hairquestions.com

or wash PERT SHAMPOO Several Times through your hair to Clean the dye out ! !

Help with hair dye..please read if you have experience!?

It'll lighten after a few washes. Try washing it with a clarifying shampoo.

Help with hair dye..please read if you have experience!?

you can actually go to sallys beauty supply and buy a color remover. DO NOT buy the remover that strips your hair. they sell a color remover for the issue that you are having. Just ask the cashier.

Help with hair dye..please read if you have experience!?

that i know of nothing. try showering every day. dont use color treatment shampoo. it keeps the color. my best advise dont color your hair any more. i colored mine to much and it started to melt off. yeah GROSS!!! good luck!

Help with hair dye..please read if you have experience!?

Same thing happened to me, I look like Elvis. Even though it said "Sable Brown" it came out jet black. Just keep washing it and deep condition it everyday. It will continue to work out. Sisters in the hall of color shame.

Is dying hair safe? Does Hair dye make you lose hair in future or present?

I want to dye my hair brown and i don't know if it is safe.

By the way i was wondering if anyone had a link to a virtual picture modifier. I want to see how my hair looks like when it is brown so i want to put my picture in the modifier and see how my hair will look if their is such a thing.

Is dying hair safe? Does Hair dye make you lose hair in future or present?

Yes it is safe! lol I am a european hairdresser and I can tell you that dying your hair can actually be good for your hair. You just need to chose the right product. But if you have never dyed your hair before, you dont have to worry about anything. Unless you plan on bleaching it 3 times before the other dye. lol

But like the other girl said you can try and use the rinsable dye first. It will only make it shinier, and if you like it you can gye it. if you dont like it you only have brown hair for like a week and then its back to normal. :)

Is dying hair safe? Does Hair dye make you lose hair in future or present?

I m pretty sure its safe. Ive dyed mine since i was 15. Iam 23 now and Ive never lost my hair fromit. My bbf s mom has coloerd her hair FOR EVER!!! And it still looks great. You may want to try a wash out color. The if you dont like it itll wash out in a few weeks.

What is the best hair dye to cover up highlights without damaging hair?

I got highlights, but i don't like them anymore. I want to dye my hair back to my natural color which is a light brown. I want to pick the right dye that will cover up the highlights, wont fade, %26amp; wont damage my hair so much. i just want my hair back to the way it was before! any suggestions?

What is the best hair dye to cover up highlights without damaging hair?

You just have to wait about a month or it can mess up your hair. Also about every hair dye is the same about that, you just might want to buy some that is better quality or the highlights might show through.

What is the best hair dye to cover up highlights without damaging hair?

use regular die after a couple o f weeks it'll work

What is the best hair dye to cover up highlights without damaging hair?

The only color that won't damage your hair is a semi-permanent color. It should grab onto the highlights good., and leave your hair shinier than a perm color.

All colors will fade on highlights...doesn't matter if they are perm or semi-perm. But the semi-perm is the most gentle. If it fades in a month, you can color it again with the semi-perm. Permanent color will open the cuticle and produce more damage.

Once your hair is highlighted, it will never be exactly like it was before you highlighted it. That hair has been stripped and damaged.

Semi permanent hair dye. PLEASEE HELPP?

Can I use my leftover semi permanent hair dye or is it not gonna dye my hair anymore 25 minutes after opening the bottle?

Semi permanent hair dye. PLEASEE HELPP?

yes u can semi-permanent is only a rinse... premanent hair dye u can only use once and then the remains u have to throw away

Which Blue Hair Dye is the best? :O.?

Basically, I want to dye my hair electric bright blue. I'm shootin' for this colour http://pics2.vampirefreaks.com/L/L0/L0s/...

I know that I can only get semi-permanent dye, and that it will need to be re-done often, but the question is - which dye will be the best?

I would rather have a better colour and have it last a couple of weeks less, than have a long lasting dye whose colour is totally off! lol.

Anyway. Three I know about are Manic Panic, Stargazer and Special Effects. Are there any more suggestions? Which shade of which brand will produce the desired colour?

PS. I have Dark brown hair, and realise that I will probably need to apply a bleaching kit. :D.

Which Blue Hair Dye is the best? :O.?

Well, I was just on Hot Topic's website, and on there, I saw two brands:

-Manic Panic (as you already mentioned)

-Color Fiend

Some other ones I saw online were:

-GoodGoth.com

-RAW Hair Dye (also on Hot Topic)

-Special Effects Hair Dye

-Fun Colors

And that's all I can find (for now.)

I'll keep you updated if I can.

Hope I helped.

P.S. Yeah, you should bleach it first.

Tips: before dying any color, test it on a patch of your skin first.

If possible, try to have a friend help with bleaching, because sometimes, bleaching dark brown or black hair can cause it to turn orange.

Unnatural hair dye please?

ok, I want to get some permenent hair dye (green, purple, or red) and I really would like to know what brand is really good, and if you can only think of a good shampo that wont take all the dye out then thats awesome!

~samygirl

Unnatural hair dye please?

Try going to like Hot Topic. They have a lot of cool colors and their stuff works good. As for a shampoo I would try something that is for dyed hair. good luck

Unnatural hair dye please?

loreal is good

Unnatural hair dye please?

Red will fade the fastest but if you have dark hair there is a permenant color called magma. Its the crazy red (firetruck or deeper) But it lasts until your hair grows out and you can't really color over it. Other colors I would say manic panic , but the show up best if you bleach the area first. A good color safe shampoo is Matrix Color Smart.

Unnatural hair dye please?

www.manicpanic.com The dye comes in alot of crazy colors. Several of my friends used it and it worked out great. The site has information on coloring your hair with it, pics, etc. too.

Unnatural hair dye please?

Go to Sally's beauty supply store, here is the link for the product that I think you should try http://www.sallybeauty.com/shop/1450/140... they have several different colors, plus you can mix them to make up your own unique color! you can also go to sallys home page and find a sally's near you. they sell professional products and you don't have to be a cosmetologist to go there and shop! Also if you are wanting to use one of the lighter shades, I would reccomend bleaching your hair just up to an Orange base and color over that. Orange is kinda of a neutral color so it is very easy to color over to get the result you want. if you lighten it too much it can alter the color and you don't want to do that. We have used these at my school and they are really good, and very bright colors! I am sure you will like it! Good Luck with it! Sally's also has several color saving shampoo's and conditioners, but I would recommend going to a salon and buying REDKEN color extend, I have used it and I LOVE IT, here is a link to a site where you can read about it. You will have to purchase that at a salon though. It is well worth it though!

Best Brand Of Hair-Dye?

What's the best brand of hair-dye to go over highlighted hair?

I have light brown hair with two blonde highlighted areas at the front

I'm wanting to dye it a DARK brown all over..Whats the best brand to use for a permanent colour?

Best Brand Of Hair-Dye?

Nutrisse? The one Davina advertises.

Some permanent dyes still wash out a little each time wash after wash however this one has good coverage and the colour actually stays exact wash after wash. I have tried quite a few on the market.

It will be fine to go over your highlights as I did the same thing. Try Garnier Nutrisse Cream / Shade 7 (Almond) Very light brown. Although it states light brown it will still come out quite dark. Good luck.

Best Brand Of Hair-Dye?

I don't dye my hair that much anymore. I used to every 2 months, but then I, too decided, I wanted brown, which is my hair color. Of all the dyes I have tried, I guess I like the Herbal Essances hair dyes. They leave your hair softer than any other hair dye I have tried. They also have extra conditioner for up to a weeks worth to help keep the color, and moisture.

BALCk SEMi-PERMANENT hair dye??

what`s the best brand?

because i want to dye my hair,%26amp;%26amp; i want it to look REALLy,REALLy DARk BLACk!, but i don`t want to use permanent hair dye,%26amp;%26amp; my hair color is like dark blonde/brownish. :D

BALCk SEMi-PERMANENT hair dye??

Once you dye hair black there's no way of removing the dye without stripping it--period. I currently have black hair but I originally had very dark brown. I dyed it black two years ago but wanted to go back to brown and the semi-perm dye I used never washed out. Eventually I got it stripped at the salon and the hair dresser told me no type of black dye will come out of lighter hair. Eventually, I dyed it back to black. Sorry, you either have to take the plunge and do it black and keep it black or not do it at all.

BALCk SEMi-PERMANENT hair dye??

the only hair color i know that works good for jet black hair is Black Henna but this will not come out of you hair, you just have to let it grow out but its natural and wont damge your hair

Will my hair dye correctly if i'vebeen having natural highlights...?

put in for the last six months and roots are grown out.I have med brown hair .If i dye it close to my natural color will it be blotchy and different colors?

Btw some of the"natural highlights" are blonde or copper

Someone told me i could make my hair green if i try to dye it but i don't think that will happen.

Will my hair dye correctly if i'vebeen having natural highlights...?

Hey avatar twin!!!

Well..IDK how you can get "natural" highlights if they aren't there naturally..but...I've had personal experience with dying highlighted hair...youre highlights might show through a little (it might be slightly lighter in some places) But it doesn't look bad, it won't turn green or anything.

If you choose to do this make sure you CONDITION CONDITION CONDTION

I cannot stress this enough... if you don't you will end up with DRY DAMAGED HAIR.

Be careful with box dyes, salon is always best!!!

Well good luck with your hair, I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt your hair wont turn green, purple, orange, red or blue..unless you want it to.

Good Luck!!!

Will my hair dye correctly if i'vebeen having natural highlights...?

yea

Will my hair dye correctly if i'vebeen having natural highlights...?

the only way i think hair seems to turn green is if you go super super bleach blonde and jump in a swimming pool of chlorine. that might make anybody green...hahah! you may find some blotchiness of color, usually darker is ok though, however it should be significantly darker not to notice as much.

Will my hair dye correctly if i'vebeen having natural highlights...?

if you have natural highlights and dye your hair correctly the highlights should kinda stay...they will be darker no doubt if you dye darker but lighter if you go lighted...if you have long hair i would recommend buying two bottles instead of just one..make sure you completely soak your hair in the dye it will come out blotchy only if you miss spots...so put on some crappy clothes and dye away make sure your hair is soaked in the dye!!!!!!!! and always use the whole container!!!!! it doesnt hurt to have more than less ive been doing my hair darker and lighter for years... good luck

Will my hair dye correctly if i'vebeen having natural highlights...?

I wish I could answer the question but I honestly don't have any idea! SORRY

What at home hair dye should I use?

I have brown hair right now

and i want to dye my hair to a pretty dark brown.

almost the same color as hilary duff and nicole richies

hair are right now. But sometimes when i dye it, it comes out purple. I want a product that will show up the color it says it will. Does anyone know any brand or product that they have used that shows up at the right color?

What at home hair dye should I use?

You are probably going a little too dark. Hillary duff, and nicole have dark brown hair. Try Revlon Colorist in Dark Brown or Feria in Espresso. I have used both and colors are not purple or reddish. Another good one to try is Garnier 100% color in deep brown. All work well, but I do like the Feria one, it is a good deep dark color.

Whatever color you choose, stay away from anything that has the words mahogany or burgundy or eggplant in the description, as these have the red and purple shades. Stick to dark browns, or dark ash brown, or neutral brown shades. These are just straightforward browns with no other tones in them.

What at home hair dye should I use?

IONO

What at home hair dye should I use?

It comes out purple? Sounds like you are using a mahogany dye instead of brown. I have had excellent luck with Loreal for years. Try using a chestnut, or something along those lines. Stay away from the ash browns if you want a nice warm brown.

What at home hair dye should I use?

Loreal

What at home hair dye should I use?

well wat you could do is die it blond first a light blonde then go for the dark so you get a darkr effect

What at home hair dye should I use?

Feria - it comes out shiny, is not as hard on your hair as some at home brands, color lasts longer before fading too.

Red hair dye question?

I have black hair with deep red peek-a-boo streaks. Ive gotten them redyed once and I've only had them for about 2 weeks. The red dye fades after about 2-3 washes, and it makes the deep red dye look orange. Why does it do this and what can I do to stop it?

Red hair dye question?

uhm theres special shampoo+conditioner

go to the place where you buy that stuff

and ask them about it cause they should have it.

oh and red hair dye tends to fade faster than

the other colours anyways.

Red hair dye question?

most likley it is the hair die that you are using, most home hair dies have a hard time showing on darker color hair and they tend to fade really fast, if you want real results you should get it perfesionally done its not the cheapest way but you will be happy with the results!

Red hair dye question?

The hair with the deep red streaks, was it bleached first, then red was deposited? If so, there's nothing you can do to stop it. You'll just have to keep getting a high resolution deposit-only red. Next time ask your stylist for a high resolution single-process such as Redken Hi Fusion or Matrix SoRed.

Red hair dye question?

dont wash your hair :}

I want to dye my hair..?

Right now it is a light golden brown/dark blonde.

I want to go blonde.

I have light ash blonde hair dye.

I also bought a lightening kit , because someone told me if i want to get rid of the orange tones i would have to bleach it and then dye it. and if i bleached my hair and then dyed it blonde , would it work??

I want to dye my hair..?

if you just bleach your hair it should work. thats what people have told me.

I want to dye my hair..?

Remove temp hair dye.?

I recently dyed my hair with temp hair dye, I don't hate it but it is not great, I haven't washed it as many times as it says to remove it yet, but is there any way to remove it faster?

Remove temp hair dye.?

Use Prell shampoo, you can find it here:

http://www.americarx.com/Products/9427.h...

Soak your hair in it and let it sit, up to 30 minutes %26amp; rinse. Condition well.

You can also use Dawn dish soap if you don't want to get prell, but that's gonna be pretty harsh and you should follow up with a deep conditioning treatment.

Good Luck!

Remove temp hair dye.?

They have haircolor remover at any drugstore (CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens etc.) or even at Wal-Mart. There is this stuff called "Color-Oops" that is gentle on your hair.

Remove temp hair dye.?

you can go to a salon and ask them to strip the color from your hair as much as they can. there is a special shampoo then you will need a deep conditiong treatment. It'll be fine.

Remove temp hair dye.?

Yes. Go to someplace like Sally's Beauty Supply or any such place and buy a product that says "Color Remover" on it. If you don't have these supply places near you, you can go to a salon and they can do it. If neither of those things is an option, you can wash your hair with Dawn dishwashing detergent ( for hand washing, not dishwashing machines) a couple times. It will REALLY dry out hair so you will have to super condition it. You can also just re-dye it a darker color. Good luck.

Remove temp hair dye.?

No. That is the safest/healthiest way.

Dying my hair, dye on top of other dye ?

ive previously used permanent cosmic blue dye,

schwarzkopf LIVE colour xxl,

the blue has now faded, and i was wondering, has anybody tried putting any colour over it before, and will RED cause any problem going over now black hair ? the red dye is the same brand and make,

any help would be much appreciated ,

thanks,

nick.

Dying my hair, dye on top of other dye ?

you have red pigments in your hair naturally so dyeing red shouldn,t be a problem

Dying my hair, dye on top of other dye ?

it should be ok thought it might go a purplely colour, but im not too sure ive never used that colour before. but should be ok beens its faded!

Dying my hair, dye on top of other dye ?

i dont no about the blue but the red wont go on black coz ive had a similar problem

Dying my hair, dye on top of other dye ?

arent you meant to bleach it first then dye it?

Dying my hair, dye on top of other dye ?

Thats what I use,I have my hair really red.

It wont do any harm to do it a few times,Ive been doing my roots every 6 weeks and its been going over and onto the rest of my hair, its now starting to feel a bit yucky.

It wont do any harm going over black hair with the red,but if you do your roots let someone do them for you so you dont over process your hair like ive done.

Dying my hair, dye on top of other dye ?

i dont know.

it might be okay...

but i might try a light bleach job before just incase....

but i think if it did mess up...a nice mix of the two wouldnt be bad.

OR just try it...and then bleach if you dont like it

Dying my hair, dye on top of other dye ?

Think of your hair shaft as a bottle. When you did cosmic blue, you probably bleached your hair first (If you did it right). Bleach leaves your hair shaft empty. The blue filled it up. Thanks to sun and shampoo, etc...the blue is fading. If you now fill the hair shaft with red, you will probably end up with some VERY bright red and some purple...it will not be even. You can try bleach first, then red, but you might cause too much damage...depends on your hair.

I'm confused...you say it's now black..did you dye black over blue? If you want the true red color on the package, you need virgin (bleached) hair.

Good luck.

Dying my hair, dye on top of other dye ?

My hairs naturally dark brown. (Although its not been that colour for years). I got fed up with being different shades of blonde, i decided to go dark underneath blonde ontop.

Then decided to go BRIGHT RED under+ blonde ontop.

The red took quicker on the blonde bits, but giving the dark a bit longer, it came out just as red.

As it faded it did lighten my dark brown to a blonde. (Just to warn you). But it will go red, without lightening it 1st.

Dying my hair, dye on top of other dye ?

I think you should get some advise from some one in the know, if you start playing around you may find that your hair will fall out.

Dying my hair, dye on top of other dye ?

Not enough info in this question but rattttgirl is right on target. Did you bleach your hair before using the blue? Have you now dyed it black and you want to go over it with the red? If you still have the blue in your hair and put red on top of it you will get a funky purple. Keep in mind also that Schwarzkopf colors have a tendency to go a bit darker. Good luck.

Dying my hair, dye on top of other dye ?

it could go purple so do a strand test first

I want to dye my blonde hair black?

I have naturally blonde hair and i want to temporarily dye my hair black. I need hair dye that washes out really quickly, does anyone know where i would get it from? What is the least amount of washes it will take to get it out?

I know i won't suit black hair so dont tell me that i won't suit it... I am aware of that!!!

(Its not for halloween but needs to be temporary)

Please Help :]

I want to dye my blonde hair black?

Don't do it,it will ruin your hair, blonde is such a lovely colour,i dyed my hair black and it's taken nearly a year to grow out.

Get a wig then you wont damage your hair.

I want to dye my blonde hair black?

It will take weeks to wash out, try a wig instead.

I want to dye my blonde hair black?

Ohhhhhhh don't do it. The pigments in black dyes will be in your hair for ages - months and months. How about a wig???

I want to dye my blonde hair black?

Most salon stores or maybe walmart carries the temporary color.........be careful as to your being naturally blonde it may be hard for it to be removed as it tends to stain the hair........good luck and have fun!

I want to dye my blonde hair black?

sally's beauty supply stores. some 6 weeks others after a couple showers

I want to dye my blonde hair black?

I would try using a rinse not a dye. You will never get your hair back to the original color. I did that and it took months and lots of money and I ended having to cut most of my hair off because it got so damaged. I will never try that again.

I want to dye my blonde hair black?

go to a beauty supply they sale semi hair color dye it washes of like in a week or less trust me I had mines pink before and it washed off good luck :D

I want to dye my blonde hair black?

No matter what anyone says... even if it's temp dye, it will stay in your hair for a long time and your hair will not return back to its natural color until it grows out. Even if after rinses and months it get's back to a blondish color it prob will still have a trace of that dye in it. I would highly recommend NOT doing it.

I want to dye my blonde hair black?

be careful, even if it does wash out it will still stain your hair, its very risky, use a wash in and wash out rinse, you can by them from superdrug, just be aware that it could go wrong!

I want to dye my blonde hair black?

I'm sorry but this has to be the stupidest idea I have heard for a good long time. If you know you won't suit it %26amp; don't want it to last , wouldn't it be better to buy a wig instead of ruining your hair.

Quick! i need a new hair dye!?

Ok i dont have much time i have natural black hair, and i always get a blonde color from the store and it doesn't even make my hair brown my hair is exactly the same as it usually is. What hair dye brand should i buy from the store that isn't to expensive and can really work and dye my hair?

Quick! i need a new hair dye!?

I've tried to go blonde too, and only wind up a sickly orange. If you really want to be blonde, you'll probably have to shell out more than the ten bucks for a home kit. I got an actual blonde streak at the salon a few years back; my cosmetologist friend wanted to show me that is was possible to go blonde, and it was indeed. I've found that I really look better in dark hair colors, though. And it's nice not having to worry about roots all the time. My hair stays a compliment-drawing slightly maroon tinted version of natural; I spend my ten bucks a few times a year and use a shade called Chocolate Cherry. It brings out pink tones in my complexion and makes me feel just a bit daring since it's not a completely natural looking hair color,

Quick! i need a new hair dye!?

maybe you should go to a cosmotologist and ask them.. they will give more info on what you should do and not do and what you should us.. there are also places like regis and stores like that that will really help you with that problem.

Quick! i need a new hair dye!?

If they have Conair,use that.

Quick! i need a new hair dye!?

I had the same issue once. I have jet black hair. Well at least it was until I dyed it. Try bleaching your hair and then coloring it. Also I think there's this Garnier stuff that's meant especially for people with black hair who want lighter hair. Hope this helps.

Blonde hair dye; what's a good brand and color...?

that looks similar to Carrie Underwood's.

like in this picture.

I'm not going to a hairdresser to do it,

and I'm aware that it probably won't turn out as well if I dye it at home.

but that's how I plan on doing it.

I've dyed it blonde (not as light) once before,

but since that was awhile ago my hair is now a golden blonde.

Can I dye my dark brown hair to a red/brown?

I tried dying my dark brown hair a golden red brown color and only the roots changed and the rest got a slight tint. Should I try getting another better brand of hair dye or go to the salon? I refuse to have it stripped. I bought Revlon hair dye and I was thinking of maybe getting L'Oreal or Garnier. I don't want to spend much money at the salon. Do you think it would work if I got a lighter better brand? Opinions and advice please! Thank you. :)

Here is a picture of what I want.. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y279/Nr...

Can I dye my dark brown hair to a red/brown?

If you have artificial colour in the hair and apply a lighter colour over it, only the regrowth will lift to a lighter shade so if your hair was coloured already, this explains your result. If you have dark brown hair and you want to go to an auburn several shades lighter I suggest going to professional colourist because we have professional strength products that can lift artificial colour without having to strip/bleach. For my client's I've used "deep" from aveda to lift coloured hair and it was a very even, predictable result. It shouldn't be overly expensive for an all over colour... go in for a consultation before anything else and please take a photo of the desired shade for your appointment.

Best unnatural hair dye? Manic Panic, SFX, La Riche...?

I'm going to dye some light blonde, real hair extensions light violet, and I want to know what is the best hair dye?

I won't be washing the extensions (they'll be worn only on the weekends, so it's not like they need to be), so should I still be concerned with fading?

Also, La Riche is the only one available to buy in stores (in my city).

HELP?

Best unnatural hair dye? Manic Panic, SFX, La Riche...?

I've used Manic Panic and it really does work great. I haven't used SFX but I have heard AMAZING things about it. Never heard of La Riche.

Help dying hair no dye?

I have really dark brown hair everyone thinks it's black because it's so dark. I put hydrogen peroxide in it so it's got a bit of red shimmer but it's only noticeable in the sun. I really don't want red hair I want dark brown hair, how to I achieve that without it being really red and with out hair dye (my mom won't let me use dye) Lemon Juice, Peroxide, and sun in will turn my hair red

Help dying hair no dye?

well, there is a brand of hair color called color pulse, its by lorial or however you spell it. on the back, it has a thing that shoes you what color you're hair will turn. you can do it a couple of times over if you want it really red. also try garnier fructis color. i used both and my hair is really red. allmost like an apple, and my real color IS black. so try those and see if they work. well, i guess its not dye. but the color pulse is more of a paint-lie thing, much better for you'r gair that chemicals.

Help dying hair no dye?

You already asked this question.

Help dying hair no dye?

Dying hair can dry your hair out.

Help dying hair no dye?

go to like a walmart and get some lightening formula for dark hair

Help dying hair no dye?

Unfortunately, black hair is the hardest color to change. In fact, it's virtually impossible without bleaching it down to a light color. With reference to lemon juice, peroxide and sun, none of these will really help change black into brown. Sorry, but the only way to really change the color is bleaching.

Help dying hair no dye?

Lightening black hair will usually bring up red.... there are new gels now with color in them... they're temporary, so if you dont' like them, they wash out..... if you have aSally's Beauty Supply store, go in and ask....

Hair dye wont come out!!!! PLEASE HELP!!?

Hair dye wont come out!!!! PLEASE HELP!!?

Go to sally beauty and ask for a COLOR REMOVER but DON'T buy "COLOR OOPS!" the smell will not come out of your hair for months..

Hair dye wont come out!!!! PLEASE HELP!!?

go to a hairdresser she'll know what to do

Hair dye wont come out!!!! PLEASE HELP!!?

the fastest answer is to dye is blonde again isnt it?

Hair dye wont come out!!!! PLEASE HELP!!?

Its simple it really is. i had the same problem too. find a close shade to your nateral coulor and dye it back to blonde. good luck!

Hair dye wont come out!!!! PLEASE HELP!!?

same thing happened with my friend

by any chance did you out on a lot?

if you did there is pretty much nothing you can do except dye it blond or you can wait till it comes out which takes a week or two

Hair dye wont come out!!!! PLEASE HELP!!?

Have you tried dishsoap liquid? It works, but it'll dry out your hair. Use conditioner after it.

When you have the chance though, go straight to a hairdresser.

Hair dye wont come out!!!! PLEASE HELP!!?

put warm olive oil in your hair and wrap in cling film, leave over night.

in the morning apply shampoo not water (oil and water do not mix-you will end up with a oil slick!!) rub the shampoo on your scalp and hair and then add water and rinse. Now this should work it took a permanent black from my natural blond hair a few years back, this is what a hairdresser recommended.

If you get it stripped at the hair dressers, it cost a fortune and turns your hair to straw, at least with the olive oil you get a conditoning treatment as well!

Hair dye wont come out!!!! PLEASE HELP!!?

A mixture of Dawn dish soap and baking soda should work wonders...have a good conditioner on hand....this should not be done too often. Remember if your hair has been chemically altered anything that says it will wash out......... WON"T. Your hair will grab it like a sponge.

Is it safe to put dye on top of prelightened hair? To get rid of the yellow and acheive ash blonde?

I prelightened my hair, which was originally dark blonde, but had been dyed a lighter. My plan was to strip my hair back to its natural dark blonde, which the prelightner said it would do on the packet if you followed 'method 2', instead of 'method 1' which would lighten hair by a good few shades. Well, something obviously had gone wrong in the process and my hair came out a disgusting pale yellow colour. Giving up any hope of getting my natural hair colour, i decided upon having my hair a light ash blonde, which would suit me. Funnily enough, I had a spare pack of ash blonde hair dye which I had brought only a few weeks ago but not gone ahead with it. I have read and heard that dying blonde prelightened hair that has turned yellow with ash blonde dye will neutralise the yellow. Thing is, on the back of the pack, it says 'do not use on previously bleached, PRELIGHTENED, or highlighted hair'. But prelighening hair and then dying it is how platinum blond hair is done, so it must be safe?

Is it safe to put dye on top of prelightened hair? To get rid of the yellow and acheive ash blonde? PLEAS HELP

be very careful as over-processing your hair can make it brittle and split the ends.

Getting red hair dye out???

i used this red hair dye and it was supposed to be out in a week, but it's still in and it's three weeks later! i went to a pool party a few days after using the dye. does chlorine have an effect on how long it stays in the hair? i want my brown back!

Getting red hair dye out???

Unfortuantely red is the hardest color besides black to get out. First try mixing baking soda with a clarifying shampoo and let it set for a few. if that doesn't work try putting head and shoulder shampoo on your hair for 30 min. If that still doesn't work go to sally's and get a clarifiying treatment and mix it with Disitilled water( it has no minerals to affect the treatment) that should do it

Getting red hair dye out???

Dye your hair brown. Duh. I love my red hair, it's natural and totally thinned out. YAY.

Getting red hair dye out???

The EXACT same thing happened to me, except I'm light blonde so it stained my hair!

I used color pulse to dye my hair, so when it wouldn't come out I used the blonde dye. It DID make my hair darker but the red came out because of it.

Unfortunately the dye never fully came out and the only reason I have normal hair now is because I cut it....and it took about a year before it looked normal again.

My advice is to dye your hair back brown with the same stuff you used.

Getting red hair dye out???

No, if anything the chlorine would help it to come out.. bc chlorine is a chemical... idk maybe dye brown over top of it again and when its done wash it so the red will wash out with the brown and then maybe 2 days later or so dye it brown again and maybe that will work :]

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

Is there any major difference between the two. I was considering getting my hair dyed at a salon, but salons charge quite a lot. Can i achieve the same results if i just dye my hair myself.

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

i don't dye my hair

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

i would get it down at a salon for better results

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

i do mine at home have done for years and i really dont see the differece get a pal to do it first time so you dont miss any but other than that its all the same dye really

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

you can ask your family members do it for you

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

you should get a friend that is good at dying peoples hair. the salon is better because they know what their doing...but its pretty easy and cost way less if you do it yourself.

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

As long as you do it correctly, it's a much better investment to do it yourself. Maybe, if you don't think you could do it, I'm sure you could find a friend or someone you know personally that can do it. Salon's charge too much, and the result isn't much better if you have it done by someone who knows what they're doing, but isn't a proffessional. If you think you could do it, give it a shot!

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

I have done both. I was much happier with the salon results. Plus, if you mess up your hair, you only have yourself to blame. If the salon messes it up, they will fix it for you (usually/hopefully) at no cost.

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

i dont have an answer but i would like to kno the same thing too because i want to color my hair

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

Most salons use brands of hair dye like Redken and the like. They charge such a large price based on the time it takes. I've dyed my hair for the last four years and everyone thinks I get it done professionally. The only real difference between salons and home dying is what you have available to you at your nearest convenience.

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

it usually looks tons better when you go to a salon.

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

If you have never done it before I would say that you should go to the salon. It is very hard to do it yourself if you have longer hair.

If you want to experiment I would try but have the money handy in case there is a diseaster

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

I have both done it myself and been to a salon and the salon wins hands down. Better colour, no mess.

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

My mum does all my hair - highlights and all and people are always shocked when they find out its not natural - granted she was a hair dresser years ago.

You have be careful doing it yourself - just remember when choosing a colour it will always come out darker then it says on the box so go a shade lighter from the one you want - ie if you want dark brown chose a fairly light one.

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

Salon every 3 months. Yeah its the way to go, at-home hair color isnt the best. It will ruin your hair and make it dull. I would suggest going to a salon if its worth it to you to have beautiful hair.

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

I never had time to get to the salon to get my roots done so now I use Nice %26amp; Easy (103) its fab!

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

If you are going more than 2 shades either lighter or darker from your normal color, get it done at a salon. The people at the salon have stronger products and can get you the color you want. The boxed hair dye never comes out the way it does on the box and is a hit and a miss. If its a drastic change (more than 2 shades), get it done professionally. If its with in 2 shades of your current color, you can do it yourself. Have fun and good luck!

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

I like the salon better the color always comes out even=]

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

i do mine a lot mostly black with some colored streaks..there is a differnce the store dye tears your hair up a lil more..but either way your doin it damaged....if you do it yourself make sure you dont miss a spot or have someone to help you..i had a friend who dyed hers blond and forgot a spot in the back..it can be very embrassing!!

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

i do both. but i dye my hair mostly myself and it always turns out good. but it depends what you want to do to your hair. if you explain what it is you want to do i could help you more.

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

I have always dyed my hair at home until recently when I was on holiday and decided to treat myself and get my hair dyed at a salon. It was definately worth it. It looked so much better and lasted so much longer. Pricey but worth it!

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

once i dyed my hair blond and my roots turn all different kinds of colors like red and blond and brown so i would say to do it at a good salon that you can trust!

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

I did it myself, did a darn good job! No mistakes! I used Feria. Now, I did a quick turnaround and am more for the environment! Save the drinking water supply for human consumption and salmon and other aquamarine life.

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

i always dye my own hair screw payin a hair salon to do it, but i wouldn`t recommend getting adventurous and trying to put highlights or anything like that and stick to the instructions on the box ,

don`t do it if the box says its not suitable 4 ur hair colour it will either not come out ,wastin time and money or will come out lookin terrible,,, ..maybe even get a mate 2 do it for u :)

good luck spend the money u safe on a hot outfit or new shoes

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

i dye my hair quite a lot and i always do it myself, mainly because it is cheaper quicker and gets u the same results, on the other hand it can be a bit messy and u will have to throw out the towel u use to dry it as it will also b dyed, my advice though is to do it yourself, good luck hope this helps,

p.s. wat colour?

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

The professional color is better quality, but you can still get good effects at home. I considered going to a salon, but decided that paying $50 for something that would have to be touched up every month or so really wasn't worth it and bought myself some Revlon. It looks pretty darn good.

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

i do mine at home, getting better at it each time!!!lol

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

I have done both. I think really it all depends on your hair type. Mine is really fine and thin so by doing it at home, it doesn't last as long or turn out how I want it. But if you have thinker hair then really the only difference is at a salon you are just paying for better color coverage and better color in general.

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

I have always done my own. But I am not trying to change the color of mine. If you want to change your color, I would go with the salon.

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

Uhm..I get my hair dyed or highlighted by my Dad, so i wouldnt kno..i never really have gotten mine down from A salon. try having ur dad or move. Or if your 20 or 18 or so. Have one of ur friends do it for you.

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

I would suggest going to a salon. They are able to match colors better and you will have a more consistent reliable result. Also there are so many additives in home dyes that you may not always get the same result. What came out brown the first time may come out green the next. If you are looking for a cheaper way to get your hair done in a salon setting I would suggest finding your local hair school. The girls are in training but usually very good for very little cost. they are supervised by professional stylists. I am a stylist and when I was in school it cost about fifteen dollars to get an all over color. And as someone else said if they mess it up they will fix it for free. Hope I have been of some help to you. Good luck.

Do you dye your hair yourself or have it done at a salon?

I dye my hair myself all the time and have no problems.

If you are a student why not try out the college hairdressing department or trainee nights at salons. The trainees are watched constantly it may take a lot long that it usually would, its worth considering.

Colours that you get in the shops are just one basic colour at a salon they will basically mix the colour to exactly what you are wanting.

Highlights are more difficult to acheive and get then even when doing it yourself, it takes a lot of practice.

I want to dye my hair. Its naturally brown and the dye is honey blonde.all it says is mix with develo

its gonna be my first time dying it. The hair dye says to mix it with the cream developer it doesnt say anything about mixing it with bleach. so if i dont put bleach will the color not work once i dye it to my hair?

I want to dye my hair. Its naturally brown and the dye is honey blonde.all it says is mix with developer???

Depending on how dark your hair is, it may turn brassy or look orangey to you. The developer is the "bleach" as you call it. It opens the cuticles in your hair and removes some of your natural color so that the hair color can deposit into the strands. If you want a true honey blonde, I suggest you find a hairstylist to do it for you. Also, have you chosen a permanent color or semi-permanent? Bear in mind that semi permanent color won't lift as much as permanent, but you won't have the line between your colored hair and your natural hair that you do when the hair grows after coloring it. Hope this makes sense and good luck.

I want to dye my hair. Its naturally brown and the dye is honey blonde.all it says is mix with developer???

yep try it

I want to dye my hair. Its naturally brown and the dye is honey blonde.all it says is mix with developer???

Just follow the instructions. If you are unsure just go to the salon and pay them to do it right.

Color mouse hair dye?

so i was thinking of putting some color in my bangs and a few streaks around my face

i dont want to bleach it out cause m hair is chemically relaxed and i dont want to kill it

my hair:

http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k146/t...

ignore ridiculous faces please

theres that loreal color pulse stuff

does that work? and if so which color should i go with

ORRRRRR any other mousse type dyes that you dont need bleach for that you would reccomend?

Color mouse hair dye?

THEY SUCK.

My hair is the same color as yours basically.

They're like 6 bucks a can (Loreal) and they don't make much of a stain at all except on your scalp.

Just go straight for the gusto with some good old fashioned hair killing dye.

Or try colored mascara, just brush it in and comb it out when it dries just for fun every now and then.

Color mouse hair dye?

Yup they all petty much sux I try everything cuz I have really thin hair but got tired of applying this stuff every time, cuz of how dark your hair is some colors don't show and the ones that do make your hair all hard like if u had applied hairspray or gel, it sux and u have nice long hair .If u really want nice britte colors bleaching would be the way to go , or some ppl say that peroxide works 2 and it won't damage it .

What Color hair dye should I buy? Going to go to a Sally Beauty supply.?

I have light blonde hair and want to darken it up a little bit for the fall and winter...dye it a light carmel color and get some lighter highlights..the price to get them both done professionally is starting at $150.00 so I thought I would dye my hair the light carmel and get the highlights done at the salon...can anyone help me with what color to buy from Sally beauty supply for a light rich carmel color?

What Color hair dye should I buy? Going to go to a Sally Beauty supply.?

Hey. I went to Sally's yesterday to dye my hair. If you tell the associate working at the store what color you are trying to achieve they should help you out. They made sure I had everything I needed and they will answer any other questions. My hair turned out great. I used the Loreal Feria brand. But it was the first time I dyed it myself. Loreal also has an instruction download link on its website to help you out.

Is black hair dye hard to come out?

I have dark brown hair, and I want to dye it black, and add purple highlights, but my mom says that if I want to re-dye it again later to a different color, that black is the hardest color to re-dye, is that true?

Is black hair dye hard to come out?

When I was younger, my hair would change by the week, it seemed. I would go red to black, black to red, blond...the occasional purple, blue, orange. As for black being hard to come out; I guess it depends on if you're having it professionally done or doing it yourself. I always did it myself. To go from black to red, I would bleach the black out...but that would turn my hair a nice shade of orange instead of blond. However, since I was planning on going back to red, it didn't matter what color my hair turned after black as long as it wasn't black. The professionals may be able to do it in fewer steps. If you're planning on going back to your natural hair color after going black, just bleach the black out and then dye your hair the closest color to your natural color you can find. That way it won't look horrible as your natural color comes back in.

So to further answer your question, getting black out of your hair isn't TOO hard- just a little time-consuming. Good luck!

Is black hair dye hard to come out?

its the hardest but it wouldnt hurt it.

Is black hair dye hard to come out?

It's the hardest color to re-dye yes. But if you have darkbrown hair, the black dye fades quickly. So you can re-dye as soon as the color has faded away. That should take three months or so.

Dark blue hair dye on white walls?

My friend dyed his hair dark blue in my bathroom while I was away in Montana and made a huge mess. I have blue hair dye all over the white walls.... I tried scrubbing it out but I thinks it's useless. Now I'm moving out and I really would like my deposit back. Is there a product that will help? Or is my only option to paint? Any suggestions much appreciated.

Dark blue hair dye on white walls?

After slapping him silly, you're gonna have to paint. First apply Kilz and then your chosen paint color. Tell ol' Blu-hair, Smurfs are OUT!

Dark blue hair dye on white walls?

The only real option you have is to HIM paint it. He did make the mess after all. Unfortunatly paint is pourous and has already absorbed the color, paint over

A gallon of paint will probably cost far less than the lost deposit

Dark blue hair dye on white walls?

You would have to have your friend come back before you move out and have him/her paint it back to white.

Dark blue hair dye on white walls?

You're prolly gonna have to repaint.

I dyed my hair black and I got it all on my walls and used nail polish remover and it helped a little but I still had to repaint.

Dark blue hair dye on white walls?

oh,oh,somebody better get the paint brush!

Dark blue hair dye on white walls?

You could try a strong bleach but I don't think that it will take it off. More bad news, paint alone wont cover it up. You are going to have to use KILZ it doesn't let color bleed through as bad. Being a bathroom it shouldn't take too much KILZ or paint redo the whole room. The kilz is oil based so be sure to have adequate ventilation.

Dark blue hair dye on white walls?

THE only option you ahve is to get some Kiltz and re paint the bathroom ! And for punishment ,your friend should help you do this . After that apply color of your choice to the walls

good luck

Dark blue hair dye on white walls?

Paint it dark blue, and tell the landlord that is a popular color now for bathrooms.

Dark blue hair dye on white walls?

Paint over it with a quality primer. I think Kilz has primer in a spay can. Allow to dry and then repaint. If you don't have the original color paint for the bathroom, check with your local recycling center. Sometimes you can donate usable paint there which means you can get a can of paint for free. If you are moving out, who cares what color it is.

Dark blue hair dye on white walls?

Paint costs way less than your deposit, even if you have to redo the entire room. Don't hold back, and make sure you get photos of everything before you move out in case your landlord disputes damages and fees.

Dark blue hair dye on white walls?

you could try WD40

Which hair dye gives you better results?

calioral or Garnier nutreese(sorry if I didn't spell it right). I'm just worried about a bad dye job. I've got medium to dark brown hair and fair skin. I either wanna dye it red or golden brown.

Which hair dye gives you better results?

I'll be honest with ya hun...The store bought stuff is garbage, and what you are trying to do is lift color, which is best done by a professional. You really wont be able to get golden or light colored hair without bleach or "high lift color". If you are fair skinned, you'd be better off with the red, and depending on the shade, you may be able to do the red without bleach. Go to a Sally Beauty supply, pick up a bottle of hair dye (Wella or Loreal are good brands, two bottles if your hair is long) If you are intent on the golden, which may wash you out if you are fair skinned, get a level 30 developer, otherwise, for red, get a level 10 developer (healthier on your hair).

You will also need gloves, a bowl to mix in, a dye brush and a crappy towel. For all of this, it costs little more than a box of hair dye and you will get professional results. Ask a friend to help if you can. Come it through and let it sit for 20-45 minutes, depending on which color you choose, testing by wiping a strand "clean" with a paper towel to see if you are happy with the results... Rinse til the water runs clear, shampoo, condition (better to put in a conditioner, cover with a shower cap for 30 minutes, or use a blowdryer) then rinse....

One more time...go for the red....drives the boys crazy anyways...Good luck!

Which hair dye gives you better results?

I've found that garnier works better

Which hair dye gives you better results?

I would avoid Garnier- if you're young, try Feria, if you have some gray, try Preference. Garnier's pigmentation looks fake, like it was "inked" on.

Which hair dye gives you better results?

well i would go with golden brown . that is my hair color!

Which hair dye gives you better results?

It depends on what you're going for... some people want to cover gray or enhance color but have it look natural. Some people like bright bold color (Garnier and Feria are good for this. I like Hydrience, too.) instead. I like to have very shiny black hair and I don't want it to look natural - I want it as black as I can get it! And I know of some artificial redheads who like very vibrant color instead of a soft, natural red. You said you were thinking about red but not HOW red. :)

Which hair dye gives you better results?

I like the Hydrience product best. Remember to look at the side of the box and match your existing color with the outcome - not at the front of the box. The Hydrience leaves your hair feeling better. Good luck.

Which hair dye gives you better results?

GO TO A PROFESSIONAL!!! You'll spend less and get exactly what u want the first time!!

Best hair dye to make it dark hair to light hair?

what is the best box kind of brand to make your hair from dark to light? or how do i bleach my hair then dye it a darker blonde? and will it damage my hair if i bleach it? thankss!

bridget

Best hair dye to make it dark hair to light hair?

revlon i went from black to blond and it worked amazing

Best hair dye to make it dark hair to light hair?

First you have to bleach it, but let me warn you, it frys your hair! It's not that bad, but it gets dried out. Then once you bleach it, it's going to be light orange if you have dark hair but don't worry. Just dye it the color you want afterward. I haven't tried to dye it blonde after I bleached it, just a light brown so I hope it works for you.

Best hair dye to make it dark hair to light hair?

Belle blonde pre-lightner is the best brand to use. I've used it a few times in order to get a lighter colour and my hair is in fine condition.

Put that on first, the colour you want after.

Best hair dye to make it dark hair to light hair?

L'Oreal Feria beige brown would look best on you.

Hair dye being absorbed?

I'm a natrual brunette, but I've temporairly dyed my hair red once before. I want to temporairly dye it black but my mom says no, that It'll be absorbed into my hair [meaning it'll still stick around after 8-12 washes]. Is that true? The red never stuck around.

Hair dye being absorbed?

As long as you use a temporary dye, it will wash out eventually. It will take longer than red -- red is an unstable color and fades faster, and as it fades it blends well with your natural color. Black will be less attractive as it fades as it makes your natural color dull and flat. If you really hate the fade process, there are shampoos at the salon that will speed up the fading, but they are a little harsh and should be used only for that purpose.

Hair dye being absorbed?

no, it won't be black forever, if it is permanent then you will have to let it grow out but if it's a temporary one it will wash out like any other colour

Hair dye being absorbed?

no it tried it, it just like the red. i just that the there will be some dark undertones. but i missed the black. high dimension. cool choice

Hair dye being absorbed?

hhhmmm no i dont think so, try the colorpulse electric black by l'oreal, it'll fade into a purple.

granted black is hard to get out (trust me i've had it done twice) but thats more with permenent dyes. red always comes out quicker so the black may stick around for a little longer but it will wash out if u use temporary dyes.

Hair dye being absorbed?

I have naturally red hair, and i dye my hair a dark red. Red hair dye fads really really fast. Black takes longer to fade out. I guess its just something about red hair dye. I can deffinetly tell within a week that my hair is different then when i first dyed it red.

Maybe you should try going lighter. Some golden blonde highlights look nice on brunettes.

閳?br>Hair dye being absorbed?

the black semi permanent color will takea year %26lt;litteraly%26gt; espeially with blonde hair to get out... when i was in 8th grade WAY bak when... i died it black, then even over a year later, when i decided to go blonde again, the stylists had a lot of issues with tryin to get rid of the remaining black.. im not sure about the temp stuff tho... but i would never risk it again personally, it sucked, but good luck, maybe if your a dark brunette it wont be so bad,.

Hair dye being absorbed?

Beware of black dyes. Yes it is true that they often will not wash out. Black is notorious for clinging to the hair more than other colors. If this happens all you can do is have it stripped or let it grow out. Another problem the 8-12 wash black dye has is it may wash out partway leaving your hair a grayish green color.

Hair dye being absorbed?

Sally Beauty Supply sells a rinse that comes out in about 14 days. It's calle Beautiful Collection by clariol. Think twice though, why black?

Quick! i need a new hair dye!?

I got hair dye on my face i cant get it off ive tried alchol, and makeup remover any suggestions on w

i used a black hair dye and i did it myself. the dye accidently got on my face ive tried achohol, makeup remover, burt's bees poision ivy wash, and witch hazel, anybody ever had this happen to them before?? any suggestions on wat to do to get it off?? i just washed the stuff out of my hair, and i have school tomorrow and i dont want to have to explain this to ppl

I got hair dye on my face i cant get it off ive tried alchol, and makeup remover any suggestions on wat to do??

I know that this sounds sick but I have always heard that you are suppose to rub wet ashes on it and it will remove the dye. I haven't tried it though. Good Luck!

I got hair dye on my face i cant get it off ive tried alchol, and makeup remover any suggestions on wat to do??

it all depends on how big the spot is..if it is large..I would use make~up cover for tomorrow for school..but try a facial mask [peel~off, not recommending scrubs]....It worked for me..閳绢櫗oodluck閳?br>I got hair dye on my face i cant get it off ive tried alchol, and makeup remover any suggestions on wat to do??

If you can, run out to the drugstore and look around the section for the hair dyes. There is usually something in a bottle that will help remove it, or some sort of wipes with that same function.

I got hair dye on my face i cant get it off ive tried alchol, and makeup remover any suggestions on wat to do??

What a predicament you've gotten yourself into!! I'm sorry--this is serious, I know.

I would call the toll free number on the hair dye box and ask them what to do, unless you did a homemade concoction, then I'm clueless as to what would possibly get that off of the skin....what abt nail polish remover? Go lightly, first, though, but it takes dyes off of nails, and I've taken it off of my hands when I've painted. Try paint remover if you have any, but first, try the dye company.

I got hair dye on my face i cant get it off ive tried alchol, and makeup remover any suggestions on wat to do??

I'm not sure, but vaseline or good lotion helps get some other skin stains out by lifting them off dry skin. You may have to just lighten it up, though, and wear coverup for a couple of days.

I got hair dye on my face i cant get it off ive tried alchol, and makeup remover any suggestions on wat to do??

Yeah, vaseline. How long has the stain been on your face?

I got hair dye on my face i cant get it off ive tried alchol, and makeup remover any suggestions on wat to do??

next time, use windex right away to get it off, but for know i'd say use foundation to cover it up for a couple of days

I got hair dye on my face i cant get it off ive tried alchol, and makeup remover any suggestions on wat to do??

I did the same thing and I used nail polish remover, it worked really good actually lol.

I got hair dye on my face i cant get it off ive tried alchol, and makeup remover any suggestions on wat to do??

Ok - I know this sounds crazy, but once I did my sister in laws hair with a black hair dye, and I used a brillo pad and just gently scrubbed until the color was gone. Not saying you should do this, but it worked for her. Hers was on the back of her neck.

I got hair dye on my face i cant get it off ive tried alchol, and makeup remover any suggestions on wat to do??

Hi, I think I can help. This happend to me and I called my salon lady and she told me to do this.

The best way to get it out is by CAREFULLY dabbing a little of the peroxide left from your dye on just the spot in your face where you have the stain. That worked great for me. If that doesn't work, which it should (unless you have put lots of stuff ontop of it and actually sealed it) but not for ever dont worry. try a little Windex! I know! weird! but it worked on my friend i used it on her when I didn't know about the peroxide. Hope I can be of help. but remember be very careful.

I got hair dye on my face i cant get it off ive tried alchol, and makeup remover any suggestions on wat to do??

Try aerosol hairspray......usually works. "Also try nail polish remover.

I got hair dye on my face i cant get it off ive tried alchol, and makeup remover any suggestions on wat to do??

go buy "hair dye remover for the skin" from sally's beauty supply

I got hair dye on my face i cant get it off ive tried alchol, and makeup remover any suggestions on wat to do??

Try a facial mask like a mudd mask that gets it off every time.

I got hair dye on my face i cant get it off ive tried alchol, and makeup remover any suggestions on wat to do??

Try a sink cleaner like Ajax, that chalky powdery stuff used to scrub down sinks and showers. I could have the name wrong, but it shakes out of a can and is white and chalky and can be wetted down. Wet some down to make a paste and apply it to the hair dye and SCRUB! It works great, I have jet black hair and it takes dye of my face and neck every time, but you may have to repeat it a few times! Good luck!

I got hair dye on my face i cant get it off ive tried alchol, and makeup remover any suggestions on wat to do??

this might not help alot but try penut butter my brother was blowing bubbles with his bubble gum and the bubble popped and got stuck to his face and he couldnt get it off and penut butter worked great or you could try rubbing alcohal, gave myself a tatoo and my dad tried rubbing alcohal on it and it faded or nail polish remover that stuffs smell could kill a stain

good luck (sorry for the bad luck)

I got hair dye on my face i cant get it off ive tried alchol, and makeup remover any suggestions on wat to do??

use dettol solution
